The juniors would like to hold a silent auction for the 2 reserved front row parking spots for all Sanborn Central Basketball games.  If you would like to make a bid, please email your bid amount to Tracy Moody at  tracy.moody@k12.sd.us     Bidding will close at 5 pm Thursday, Dec 19th.  The two highest bids will receive the front spots and reserved signs will be placed.

The juniors will also have their 2nd annual "Basketball Board" for home varsity games. The first 25 people will be placed on the board and winners will be determined by half-time score of varsity games.  The first 25 to pay $20 for their spot will be the only ones placed on the board.  $25 will be given away at each half-time, so a total of $200 will be awarded at our home games.  Please contact Tracy Moody at tracy.moody@k12.sd.us to reserve your spot.  It is a fun way to raise money for prom!

This exchange student needs a new home.  He would start next semester in January.  Johann is an energetic, 16-year old from Germany who has had a rocky first half to his exchange year and is in need of a fresh start.  He has had some behavioral and academic concerns during the first half of the year that have been addressed with a final warning. However, the reason that we are looking to replace him currently is that we had to move him due to host family suitability concerns. Since being in his temporary placement, he has been engaged, enthusiastic, helpful around the house, and diligent with his schoolwork, so it seems that the instability of his home life could have been connected to the host family concerns.  Johann seems to thrive in settings with a good structure in place. He loves to play sports (football and motocross are is favorites), listen to music and is extremely outgoing.  Thank you in advance to whomever finds a spot for Johann! There is a possibility we could pay tuition for him if we find him a family.  Can you help, please?  If you have a place in your heart/home please contact Sherry Stilley & Steve Nordwall www.effoundation.org<http://www.effoundation.org/>
