Good Luck to the JH Basketball teams as they travel to
Springs for a 6:00 tip off. The bus will
leave SC at 5:00.
HS girls are at SC and boys at Woony today.
Tomorrow the 3/4th girls are at Woonsocket for a
10:00 practice.
The JV Boys will play in the MCM Tourney tomorrow. We play V-H Black at 9:00 in the elementary
gym. The bus will leave at 7:10 from Woony and 7:20 from SC.
HS Students LISTEN
UP!!!! All your computers and cords
must be in their proper place by the end of the day Wednesday, December 20th
for updates over the break.
Any HS
Student with overdue library books on Monday, December 18th risks losing open campus privileges during
semester tests! Jolene, Vickie and Mrs.
Danek have the lists!!!
Next
week the high school students will be taking semester tests. Tuesday the 19th is Blue testing
and Wednesday the 20th is Orange testing. All
students with F’s will need to be at school for the entire day. Students with passing grades need to be here
only for the classes that tests are given or the teacher has requested that you
attend. Any questions see Mr. Siemsen.
Thursday,
December 21st HS students are not having classes. If you don’t plan on coming to school that
day a note from your parents will exempt you.
Elementary students will be walking on Monday and
Wednesday next week.
If you completed
the form at the beginning of the year to have your calendars and menus sent
home with a student, it was done earlier this week. Names are written on them and placed on the
lockers of students in grades 2-12 and handed to the teachers of those in
grades PK-1. Walking through the hall
this morning many are still hanging on the locker – a couple of them have last
months there too!
ACADEMICS
MS AR Points are due on Tuesday – December 19th.
The MS Updates for next week are on our Google Drive now.
ATHLETICS
Games in Mt. Vernon on Monday-Girls in old gym at 6PM for
JH and C games and boys in new gym at 6PM for JH and C games. The bus will leave from SC at 4:45PM and pick
up Woony at 5PM.
5/6th Girls Basketball will practice in
Woonsocket at 3:30 on Tuesday, December 19th.

COMMUNITY
The Artesian Community Improvement Association will be
holding their annual Ham Drawing/Membership Drive on Friday, December 15, 2017
at the Artesian Community Center. Supper will be served at 6:30pm, with
drawings and a visit from Santa Claus to follow!
Sanborn County 4-H Blue Group will be sponsoring a
Community Christmas Party Saturday, December 16th at the Letcher
Community Center. A soup and sandwich supper will begin at 6:00 followed
by Bingo with prizes! Everyone is invited to help them celebrate
the season!
