Girls BB will practice at Woonsocket on Monday and Tuesday this week.

The end of the 3rd quarter is Thursday, March 13th.

The boys has a great season and represented Blackhawk Nation well in their overall record of 12 wins and 9 loses. They were defeated by Colman-Egan on Friday by a score of 46-37.

The girls will compete at the Huron Arena and Convention Center vs. Lyman at 7:45 on Thursday. 
Thursday 5:00PM Player Autograph Signing and Pep Rally with a walking taco and nacho bar served. Everyone is Welcome!
Students wear western gear and fans wear red, white and blue.

The Lady Blackhawks will have the proper send off Wednesday morning at 8:00AM from the Woonsocket School. The fire truck will lead them out of town as they head to the State B's in Huron!

Friday, March 7 2025-Blue Day-1:45 Dismissal

 Information for the week of March 3rd
The Blackhawk ladies are headed to S-T-A-T-E!! Congratulations on a victory over Corsica-Stickney last night with a barn burner of a game with a final score of 43-45! The ladies will play Lyman at 7:45 on March 13th!
If you would like to order a Blackhawks basketball shirt orders need to be online with a cut off of Saturday March 8th BEFORE midnight.

It's great to see all of the Blackhawk buddies in the building. From mom's and dad's to grandparents and aunt's and uncles. Thanks for taking time out of your busy day to have a bite to eat with these excited kids!

The boys will play at 6:00 in Woonsocket vs. Colman-Egan on Friday for the first Round Region game. If they win they will place again on Saturday at 1PM with the site to be determined. The winner will play at 1:00 in Chester.

The Wellness Committee challenges you  to get up and get a move on. March is a fantastic time to utilize the outdoors and try a new activity!

In celebration of PBIS we will highlight the success of staff and students on Friday, March 7th with a movie in the gym starting at 11:45. The kitchen ladies will make a sack lunch for all PreK-12th grade students, including an Uncrustable PB&J sandwich, carrots, apple wedges, string cheese, and capri suns. Students will still have the option to get a milk if they would like one. The PBIS team members will have the sack lunches on a cart and will pass out the lunches to students before the movie begins.

Friday-Books Boost Our Blackhawk Pride-Wear your Blackhawk gear, We will have Blackhawk athletes as guest readers!
Friday-Bring your Blackhawk Buddy (parents, grandparents, etc.) to breakfast 7:45-8:15-Donut and Juice Provided by the SC Booster Club

The bus will depart at 4:30PM from Woonsocket.  Have Shoot a round at SC and depart at 5:15PM to go to the corn palace.
*There will be a pep rally on Thursday at 8:30AM for the Girls SoDak 16 game in the Woonsocket Gym for grades 7-12
