Dear Parents/Guardians,
Central Electric is once again offering the South Dakota Rural Electric Youth Excursion bus trip for current high school freshmen, sophomores, and juniors this summer!
Students who live in Aurora, Brule, Buffalo, Davison, Hanson, Jerauld, Miner, or Sanborn County are eligible to apply for this unique and unforgettable experience. Please see the attached flyer for additional information.
From July 20–22, selected participants will stay at Bismarck State College. During the trip, students will have the opportunity to build leadership skills, make new friends, and gain a better understanding of how electricity is generated and distributed. Students will also tour the Great Plains Synfuel Plant, Freedom Coal Mine, and Antelope Valley Station Power Plant.

One student per county (based on home address) will be selected to attend.

Applications must include a written recommendation from a teacher, 4-H advisor, or FFA advisor explaining why the student would be a good candidate for the trip.

Our summer workout program for strength and agility will be instructed by Melissa Aughenbaugh from Huron. We will do the workouts in the second half of our open gym time.
We are also going to be in a Summer League in Alexandria for the varsity. So, we will at least for the start be taking all the players that were on varsity last year. The matches start at 5:30pm and they play every half-hour with the last match ending at 8:30pm. We will be taking a transit van to transport the players.

Hi, my name is Waverley Hagman, and I am putting on a Little Blackhawk Volleyball workout for Grades 3rd -6th (26-27 school year) as part of my Senior Project. The workout will teach them basic volleyball skills including passing, setting, serving, and hitting. The proceeds are going to the Blackhawk Volleyball Fund.
