Football practice is in Springs today.

No 5/6th Basketball practice today due to gym conflicts.

We have been collecting pop tabs for the Ronald McDonald House.  The Kingsburys will be headed to Rochester the week of October 21st.  Lynette will pick up what we have on October 21st – so if you are stock piling any – bring them in!

Parent Teacher Conferences will be held on Monday, October 14th from 1:00-6:00 pm. These are the hours that the following teachers will be available for conferences:
    Corey Flatten     1:00 - 3:00

Tracy Moody       1:00 - 3:30 but will be in the concession stand area until 6:00

If parents cannot be here during those times, MS and HS students can still receive bonus points if they contact the teacher either by e-mail, phone, or set up another conferencing time by Wednesday, October 23. That goes for any parent that cannot attend conferences.

Don’t be the one to spread the flu!!!!!!!  Only three days left to get put on the list!  Flu immunization forms are available in the office or on our web site.  The shot will be given free of charge to all students on October 23rd from 7:30 am until 10:30 am. We are asking that all forms be returned by October 16th to get put on our list.  It goes very smoothly if Marla can pre-draw the shots, however, as long as vaccine is available that morning, you can still get a shot.

Need MS volunteers to work the 6:45 – 7:45 shift on Saturday’s Kingsbury Pep Rally applying tattoos and painting fingernails.  See Mrs. Vermeulen

Keep in mind that Jack Links is sponsoring a tailgate party Friday, October 11th at the football game in Springs.  All proceeds will go to Spartan athletics.

It may be hard for an egg to turn into a bird: it would be a jolly sight harder for it to learn to fly while remaining an egg. We are like eggs at present. And you cannot go on indefinitely being just an ordinary, decent egg. We must be hatched or go bad.
