The SC Booster Club is treating staff
and students to an “I Hate Winter Meal” today.
The cast
and crew of the One Act Play will perform it on Friday, February 3rd at 2:30 for students and staff
grades 6-12. Please dismiss the cast and
crew at 2:00.
The JH
teams host Corsica at Woonsocket tonight.
The girls tip off at 5:30 followed by the boys.

The beef and noodles lunch scheduled for Wednesday the 8th
will be served on Tuesday the 7th.
The corn dog menu scheduled for the 7th will be moved to the
8th. Breakfast menus will
stay the same!

It’s just 11 days away!! Here’s
a great way to make it easy for you as well as help several other out! The SC
School Spirit Club will be hosting Bouquets for Babies/Kandygrams for Kiddos for Valentine's
Day. All proceeds of this fundraiser will be split between the
Adema and King families. Bouquets of assorted roses will be sold for$25 a dozen. Kandygrams will be sold for $2. Both can be
distributed to students on Valentine's Day or arrangements can be made for pick
up/delivery if needed. Please contact/email

a hard-fought game to #2 rated Corsica-Stickney last night by a score of
85-69. Helping were: 8 pts, 2 reb, 2 ast Tater—2

assists. Coach Olson’s comments: The boys played hard in
building a 2 point halftime lead 40-38. Corsica-Stickney is very similar
to us in that all 5 guys on the floor can score (they had 5 players in double
figures). We were battling some foul trouble a lot of the night—the way
the game was officiated did have an effect on what we were trying to do but the
main ingredient to the loss was them doubling us up in rebounds. I’m very
proud of the boys’ effort and we continue to build towards the post-season.

MUSIC
The
following high school students will be attending the region vocal contest in
Kimball on Wednesday, February 8th: Madi M, Abby V, Haley Z, Amber S,
Chloe D, Karley K, Katie S, Sam D, Alex W, Sawyer S, Cole M, Cayden S, Royce H,
Koby L, Noah D, and Quentin S. The bus will leave Sanborn Central at 6:30
am and Woonsocket at 6:45 am. We should be back by approximately
3:30. Wear concert black, and bring money for lunch.

On February 12th the DWU basketball teams face off in a double header against Concordia at the World's Only Corn Palace! The #8 DWU Lady Tigers will face #2 Concordia Lady Bulldogs at 2:00 with the #9 DWU Men vs. Concordia Bulldogs (15-8) to follow! These games should be very good so come out and see them! While you're there the DWU CHAOS (chemistry, health, and other sciences) group will be putting on a 50/50 for our loved baby Paisley Ann King! Come out and see some amazing DWU basketball and support this beautiful little girl and her family! Hope to see everyone there!!
From Mitchell Christian…….At our home game with Sanborn Central/Woonsocket on February 16, Mitchell Christian will hold a Safehouse Fundraiser. Instead of charging an admission fee, we are asking everyone who attends the game to bring donations of cash or personal care items to support the Mitchell Area Safehouse. Last year this fundraiser yielded more than $1,009 and over 350 items, and the Safehouse employees were delighted! This year we hope to donate even more!
