 Welcome to the 2024-2025 School Year! Here are a few things you might need to know to start off the year.

The applications that were included in the back-to-school paperwork are not current and will need to be replaced with the following document. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and are still encouraging everyone to fill out the Free and Reduced application. The district free and reduced percentage is often used when applying for grants, student extension services and professional development. Therefore it is beneficial that you apply!

We have a new office e-mail for ATTENDANCE AND BUSSING! Your messages will be viewed by Mr. Flatten, Mrs. Vermeulen, Gayle, and Laura. This keeps everyone in the loop when Laura is out of the office. Thanks

Infinite Campus parent and student portal-MS and HS parent and students that do not have  a portal through infinite campus please talk to Laura in the office. This portal is a helpful tool to allow you to follow along with school year progress from grades, attendance, assignments and more!

BOOSTER CLUB

What is the Sanborn Central Booster Club? The booster club is an organization that helps Pre-K thru 12th grade students and staff at Sanborn Central by providing additional funding for different activities throughout the school year. A few of the items the booster club has helped fund in the past are; field trips, playground equipment, state tournament activities, bleachers, I-pads, supplemental reading programs, upgrades to the library, sports complex, and record boards. The concession stand is run by the booster club and all proceeds from the concessions go back to the booster club to help make Sanborn Central the best it can be!
The booster club raises money for various projects and would like you to become a member. If you are interested in joining a great organization please venmo $20 to @sanborncentralboosterclub and add a description "Dues 24-25"

The FB boys will be on the road at Bridgewater tomorrow with a 7PM kick off! Come support the team and enjoy a meal provided by the Bridgewater-Emery Student Boosters starting at 6PM. 
$7.00 meal 1 Pulled Pork Sandwich, Mac and Cheese, Cookie and Water 

Hanson Early Bird Tournament Information. Teams: Hanson, AC/DC, Avon, Freeman, Marion, Platte-Geddes, Wessington Springs, Woonsocket Early Bird Tournament Location: Hanson High School Date(s): Tuesday August 27th and Thursday August 29th Time: First games of the night @ 5:15 w/ rolling schedule to follow. Locker Rooms: Will be assigned upon arrival. Live Stream: https://www.youtube.com/@hansonschool5040 ** Both courts will be streamed, games vs Hanson will have a commentator. Concessions: Will be available for the duration of the tournament.

Community

Artesian Area WWTS (Walking With the Savior) youth group for ages pre-school through 5th grade will begin at Artesian 1st Lutheran on Wednesday, Sept. 4 from 3:45-5:30 and continue each week through the end of April. The agenda each week will include snacks, prayers, Bible lessons, games, songs and crafts. There are few openings left. If you are interested in your child attending please contact Judy Wormstadt at 527-2342 for more information.
