September 13th Parent/Teacher Conferences will be held from
1:00-7:00pm. MS & HS students who
have parents attend conferences will receive bonus points in the class. If your parent can’t attend conferences, they
are encouraged to call or e-mail your teachers prior to September 20th.

BAND
The
8-12 band will be having a joint mini marching camp from 9am until noon in
Woonsocket on Saturday, September 15th. It would be wise to take your
instruments and music home with you on Thursday so that you have them for the
15th.
Monday the marching
band will have joint practice in Woonsocket.
Students will load the bus at approximately 8:15 (with instruments) and return
10:45-11:00ish. Attending are Casady D,

The following students will be attending the
Faulkton Land and Range Contest on Wednesday, September 19th. Sam D.,
Katie S., Tater M., Cayden S., Amber S., Harley K., Teagan S., Madi M., Dana
S., Aiden W., Cole M., Sawyer S., and Austin S.
The bus will pick students up at: Sanborn at 6:15 am and Woonsocket by
6:35 am. We should be back by the end of
the school day. Lunch is provided at the contest and is included in
registration fee.
FFA parents - we are in need of volunteers to
work the homecoming tailgate and to bake cookies and/or bars for the tailgate
on September 21st. If you are able to help with either, please e-mail Miss.

Crystalyx fundraising packets were sent home
with each of the kids, there were 10 cards in each packet. More are available
at the request of the students. It is important that students bring back ALL
sold and unsold cards - if kids do not bring back all cards, they owe the
chapter $20 per card. The cards and money need to be turned in by October 8th.
Reminder - students who plan on attending state convention in April are
required to sell at least $200 in fundraisers, whether it be Crystalyx cards or
fruit sales.
Junior
Class
Are you ready for some
football?! The junior class is! Help them out with their prom fundraising
efforts by purchasing a yard line. For $5, you get to choose a yard line and if the last play of the
homecoming football game ends on YOUR yard line, you win half of the money. Contact your
favorite junior, come to the volleyball game on Saturday, September 15, or email
susan.farrell-poncelet@k12.sd.us to purchase your yard line.
