ATHLETICS
The 2018 VB
Game schedule has been uploaded to our Google Drive. It can be found at
Wednesday,
August 22nd Sports Pictures will be taken in Woonsocket. The schedule is: 2:00PM-
Cross Country, 2:15PM- Woonsocket VB individuals, 2:15PM- SC VB will
depart, 2:45PM- JH VB individuals, 3:00PM- SC JH VB depart, Football will start
around 3:45PM with individuals for Woonsocket, 4:30PM Cheerleaders.
Thursday, August 23rd the 7/8th FB
team will host Redfield in two games at Sanborn Central with a start time of
5:00. Concession stand workers are Ryan and Becca
Edwards and Missy Hobaugh.
Tuesday, August 28th the Lady Blackhawks host
Hanson with a 4:00 serve by the 7th grade team followed by the 8th,
C, JV, and Varsity teams. It’s also
Parent Night. Concession workers are:
Clayton & Lanette Dean, Jennifer Sheldon, Paul & Marci Farmer, Melinda
Salas, and Dean Morgan.
FFA
Wednesday, August 22nd Katie S and Samantha D
will be attending Dakota Fest with Ms. Ronning.
Thank you to all members and parents who
attended the FFA meeting on Monday night! If you missed the meeting and plan to
be involved in FFA, please see Miss. Ronning so that you can get the membership
paperwork to fill out.
Membership dues are $20 per student, please get
those to Miss. Ronning ASAP!

The FFA chapter will be ordering apparel, talk
with Miss. Ronning if you would like to order a t-shirt or sweatshirt - anyone
is able to order a shirt/sweatshirt, this helps show support for the FFA
chapter. Shirt is $15 and Sweatshirt $20.

FFA members who do not have their own FFA jacket
and tie/scarf, are encouraged to apply for a scholarship through the SD FFA
Foundation to receive one, please see Miss. Ronning for the application. Applications
are due September 20th.

The SC Booster Club is hosting a
Pampered Chef fund raiser with proceeds going to the
athletic complex. Orders are due by September 5th. If
someone would rather look at a book I have them at the school. All checks can
be made out to Julie Bebout. There is a $5.25 shipping fee on each person's
order, orders will be sent to the SC Booster Club and distributed. If you would
like your order shipped directly to you there will be an additional shipping
charge. If anyone has any ordering questions or would like to place their order
