Youth Trooper Academy will be held June 25 - 29, 2018 (All expenses paid
by SDHP and SD American Legion). Application deadline is March 23, 2018.

Sophomores & Juniors - Start thinking about
what dual credit classes you would like to take fall semester next year.
The application opens in April. In order to ensure all paperwork is in order
and sent in prior to the end of school we need to have signed
paperwork back to me by May 4th.

Credit webinars, one in the morning and one in the afternoon.
For: Students and Parents - The guest links are below and will require that
you type your name in as a guest. Please include your high school name so
we can track who participated. I’ve also included dial-in information in
case you have any audio issues. The webinars will include basic dual
credit information, along with information about the General Education
requirements and course selection. During the webinar, you can type in your
questions and we will answer them after the presentations. The webinars
will be recorded for viewing at a later date if these days and times don’t work
for you or your students.

the Sanborn County 4-H Building April 5th, 6th, and 7th. This course is
open to anyone who will be 12 years old by December 31st. A signup sheet

Freedom Bags -The March

) radio station is hosting an event to assemble Freedom Bags. Freedom Bags are
for women who have been a subject of human trafficking. Each bag will include
items that will make the woman feel whole again and will give them a start as
they transition back into a normal lifestyle. If you feel so inclined to donate
any items feel free to drop them off at Amy Moody’s house in Letcher or at the
Sanborn Central School Office. I will be taking donations until Monday, March
26th. I will be assembling as many Freedom Bags as possible on
March 27th and delivering them to Sioux Falls. A full list of

The Artesian First Lutheran ladies will have their annual
Easter Bake Sale on Saturday, March 31st from 9:30-11:00 am at
the Artesian Community Center. It will be held in conjunction with
the CIA Easter Egg Hunt which will begin at 10:00
am. Coffee, lemonade and rolls will be served. Regular
and baby size quilts made by the First Lutheran Quilters will be available for
sale. Come and let the ladies do your Easter baking for you!!!
