It’s American Education Week! Today is administration day and the staff
and students at Sanborn Central have the best!

G/B are traveling to Hitchcock for games tonight.
3/4th
Boys have practice at Woonsocket today.
The school board meets
at 7:00 tonight.
We will not have
counseling until Mrs. Johnson returns from maternity leave.

Tomorrow is Teacher Day as Sanborn
Central observes American Education Week.
Teachers may wear jeans and a shirt from their alma mater (or
fave team). We will have a soup potluck in the lounge for all staff.
ACADEMCIS
Wednesday, November 15th a Rep from
Lake Area Tech will be here at 11:50 to visit with any interested
juniors/seniors.
The MS Updates for this
week have been uploaded to our Google Drive.
The extra help day is
just around the corner – November 22nd. The MS students attending the Music Fest on
November 21st will be notified of missing assignments on Friday,
November 17th. They will have
until 2:00pm on Monday, November 20th to turn in all missing work or
will be required to attend the extra help day on Wednesday, November 22nd.
Parents of these 12 students will be notified after 2:00pm on Monday the 20th. Please stay abreast of your child’s missing
assignments!
ATHLETICS
The 5/6th basketball games on Tuesday with Howard will be
girls only.
Tuesday, November 14th open gyms for 7-12
basketball players will begin. Girls
will have a meeting at 3:00 at Woony with open gym to follow. Boys will have a meeting at 3:00 at SC with
open gym to follow.
For the JH
and HS Blackhawk Football awards night on November 16 at Woonsocket at 7:00 pm
we are asking the following for the potluck: Woonsocket Parents – bring hot
dish/main dish, Wessington Springs Parents – bring dessert, and Sanborn Central
Parents – bring salad/side dish. Thank
you to all parents in advance for providing to the pot luck.
The 3rd
& 4th grade boys will have games in Wolsey on Thursday, November
16th. The 3rd graders will start at 6:00 pm with the 4th graders
following at 7:00 pm.
MUSIC
The
following students will be attending the Region 5 Junior High Music Festival on
Tuesday, November 21st: Ellie K, Shania C, Ellie E, Katie M, Brady L,
Leighton T, Brighten H, Dayton E, Mason M, Dana S, Michael H, and Sidney
S. Please note the departure times have changed. The bus will be
leaving Sanborn Central at 6:15 am and Woonsocket at 6:30 am.
