Blue Day
Congratulations to the Lady Blackhawks
for beating Gayville/Volin and Hanson last night at the Early Bird
Tourney. This earned the right to play
Warner for the Championship Thursday night.
Championship game will be the third match of the night.
It’s sport
picture day in Woonsocket……….Cross Country pictures will be taken at 2:00 –
Austin S will leave prior to that. VB
players will be dismissed at 2:10 – Abby V, Madi M, Tory R, Sam D, Katie S, Shania

order a shirt/sweatshirt, this helps show support for the FFA chapter. Shirt is $15 and Sweatshirt
$20. Here’s what the shirt will look like
FFA members who do not have their own FFA jacket
and tie/scarf, are encouraged to apply for a scholarship through the SD FFA
Foundation to receive one, please see Miss. Ronning for the application.
Applications are due September 20th.

Thursday, August 23rd the 7/8th FB
team will host Redfield in two games at Sanborn Central with a start time of
5:00. Concession stand workers are Ryan and Becca
Edwards and Missy Hobaugh.
Tuesday, August 28th the Lady Blackhawks host
Hanson with a 4:00 serve by the 7th grade team followed by the 8th,
C, JV, and Varsity teams. It’s also
Parent Night. Concession workers are: Clayton &
Lanette Dean, Jennifer Sheldon, Paul & Marci Farmer, Melinda Salas, and
Dean Morgan.

The SC Booster Club is hosting a Pampered
Chef fund raiser with proceeds going to the athletic
complex. Orders are due by September 5th. If someone
would rather look at a book I have them at the school. All checks can be made
out to Julie Bebout. There is a $5.25 shipping fee on each person's order,
orders will be sent to the SC Booster Club and distributed. If you would like
your order shipped directly to you there will be an additional shipping charge.

Pastor
Garry, from the Letcher Church, has mailed permission notes for bussing for
Sonshine Club from Sanborn Central. Sonshine Club will meet on September
5th. If we do not have a signed permission slip, the bus will
not drop your child off at church or allow to ride with Pastor Garry. We
would like to have all forms back by September 4th to avoid a last
