5/6th Boys Basketball Players – Thursday with Mitchell Christian the 5th boys will play only.

The following students will be attending the All-State Chorus prep day at SDSU in Brookings on Thursday, October 12th:  Lucy N, Ellie K, Alexis K, Katie M, Kendra M, Dayton E, Harley K, and Leighton T.  The bus will be departing SC at 6:30 am.​

The Sanborn County Office of child and Family Services will host the Annual Flu Shot Clinic - October 16th.  Forms were previously sent home with students and available on line. Parents can access the forms by going to our web site - click on the Forms and Publications tab in the upper right corner, click on Google Drive, Health Folder, and Flu Shot Folder.     The Consent Form gives Marla permission to give the shot.  The Intake Form is to verify insurance.  Any questions feel free to call Marla or Jolene at 796-4510.  Parents accompanying their child should plan on being here between 8:30 and 10:00.  Please contact Mary at 495-4183 or if you want to hold your little ones hand!  Then we will wait until you are here to administer their immunization.

Parents of students grades 6-12!!!!  A reminder that every parent and student (unless you have over due bills with the school) is welcome to a parent portal.  The portal can be accessed from any computer or smart phone.  This is a great way of seeing assignments, when they are due, points given, attendance records, teacher comments, and the list goes on!  If you are having problems with your portal, need an account set up, or want to see if your student has one and is using it just contact Mary at

Eligibility and MS Updates are due at noon tomorrow!

All grades need to be on report cards by 3:00pm on Wednesday, October 18th.

Juniors & Seniors - Start considering what dual credit courses you would like to take in the spring. The classes are up online now at the SDMyLife site. Please let me know when you decide on the class or classes you will be taking. Starting November 20th an online application process will be available and we will start applying then.

Marching band will leave here at 7:45 on Friday.  Sidney S and Michael H will be joining Catherine B, Samantha D, Renee F, Madi M, Sarah M, Chloe R, Adriana S, Katie S, Abby V, Dayton E, Brighten H, Mason M, Dana S, and Leighton T.  Bring your $7 for lunch to the office or Ms. Bratcher!
