generate parent notifications for missing assignments in MS and HS at 1:30
today. Make sure you have everything
turned in!!!!

FFA
SC/W FFA
is introducing “Remind” app texts for FFA parents and community members.
We have used Remind the past couple years amongst our members. We
are looking to expand our use of this system to enhance our communication with
other interested parties.
If you would like to receive our parent announcement text
messages, text the message @scwffa2 to the number 81010. Announcements
and reminders sent out on this system will consist of due dates for forms and
applications, leave times, and issues related to operation of FFA events.
If you would like to receive our community announcement
text messages, text the message @scwffa3 to the number 81010.
Announcements and reminders sent out on this system will be general in
nature and more useful to those without children in school.
You do not have to download the associated mobile app to use
this system. If you at some time not longer want to be a part of the
announcement system, email Mr. Gross (Shane.gross@k12.sd.us) and he will remove you.
The South
Dakota FFA Foundation is accepting applications for the Blue Jackets FFA
program. SC/W FFA can submit 5 applications to the Foundation. The
program provides a scholarship to pay for a member’s FFA jacket and tie/scarf.
Freshmen are encouraged to submit an application. - Mr. Gross
MUSIC
Have you
heard?????? The SCW Winterguard Ladies are
selling raffle tickets for the Garth Brooks Concert!!!! They have
4 tickets ($300 value) in Section 118 for Sunday, September 17th at
7:30pm at the Denny Sanford Premier Center. Raffle tickets are being sold
at $10 each or 3 chances for $20. All 4 tickets will go to one winner.
The SCW Winterguard ladies will draw on Sept 8th but would like
everything turned in by September 6th. Feel free to contact
Brooklyn Swenson, Renee Farmer, Adriana Salas, or Josie Weber for more

Ms. Bratcher is getting her band program
organized and is very excited to have the members of the Blackhawks band so
eager for the new year. You can find more information in the band folder

BOOSTER CLUB
The Booster Club would like to invite the Sanborn Central
community to assist with installing some new playground equipment and fence on
Sunday, August 27 at 4:00! The students will be really excited to get to play
on this equipment!! This is a rather big project and we would encourage
everyone to attend!! If you have questions please contact Roxann Larson
at 770-2077.
