The Blackhawk Youth Football program (3rd thru 6th) is
having their organizational meeting tonight (August 26th) at 6:30 in the
Springs gym.
FFA students gone to the fair on Thursday are: Trent K, Trevor
O, Garrett D, Cody R, and Catherine B. For
FFA Members helping at the SD FFA Animal Nursery at the State Fair on Thursday:
You will need to wear an FFA t-shirt. If you do not have one, the FFA
will be selling shirts for $5 a piece at the fairgrounds. You will also
need to bring money for lunch. We will be leaving from Sanborn Central at
7:45 am and Woonsocket at 8:00 am. If you are getting on the bus at a
school other than the one you are enrolled at you need to let Mr. Gross know.
We will be back around 2:30 pm.

If you have extra ice cream pails that you have no use
for, our kitchen could use them, especially the shorter size that is about 4
quarts. We also use the regular size

LIFETOUCH Football Pics on Tuesday,
Sept. 9 when practice is at Woonsocket. They will be here to start
taking pics at 4PM. Forms will be sent home with the
players.
Picture retake day will be Sept 16th.

to School Night. If you didn’t pick one up and would like one, please
stop by the office or contact mary.ackman@k12.sd.us
Please note - Until the ala carte permission forms are
returned (they are in your packet of forms) there will be no ala carte items
served to your students. We do not want anyone charged for items that the
parents haven't given permission. If you don't find the form in your
packet, please call the school and we will send another one home.
Yearbooks have arrived – if you haven’t received yours,
please let Mary know. If you didn’t get your order placed, but would like

Football Help Wanted
1) Someone that would
be interested in doing stats for football and maybe even someone to video
tape. Contact Mr. Flatten
2) Looking for
volunteers to help with the football game on August 29 at Forestburg vs.
Kimball/White Lake. I need help with the chain gang and someone that
