Good luck to the Blackhawks as they road trip to Ethan tonight. The bus will leave here at 2:40. JV girls start the evening with a 4:00 tip off. The game will be broadcasted on Q107 and Santel Channel 106.

The Blackhawk Boys BB team won on Friday against an athletic Wess Springs team by a score of 65-48. Some stats were: Jaedyn-10 pts, Davion 24 pts &14 reb, Dillon- 10 pts, Tyler-3 pts, Tucker 2 pts & 5 assists, Jarid-4 pts, trevor-2 pts, Brady 8 pts & 8 reb, Wyatt- 2 pts. FG 30-62 for 48%. FT 5-13 for 39%. Rebound adv 32-27. The boys record is now at 10-2. Coach Olson’s comments: The boys got off to a fast start, leading by 14 after the 1st QT. This allowed us to work on some things that we think will help us as we go forward. A lot of boys contributed some positive moments in the win.
The JV team won 46-31. Helping the scoring were: Joe Davis-7, Garrett Larson-10, Trevor Olson-13, Rex Schlicht-4, Josh Feiner-4, Wyatt Feistner-8. The JV team also competed in the MVP Jamboree on Saturday winning their 30 min games vs. Ethan 48-20, vs. Wagner 54-47, vs. MVP40-36, and losing to Winner 35-24. Scoring for the day Joe-15,Jarid-8,Garrett L-14, Rex-24, Josh-63,Trevor-11,Wyatt-21,Jastyn-10,also contributing were Garrett D and Shaun S. All the boys played well against some very good competition.
Jrs - please remember to bring your 2 dozen goodies to be made for plates to be sold at next Thursday's game. We will have a bake sale with $5 plates at the game vs. Corsica Stickney next Thursday.
The Booster club will have member appreciation night on Thursday Feb 6th. There will be free popcorn for everyone and prize drawings thru the evening.
