Orange Day – Elementary Tutoring Today

It’s our understanding that many of our students have qualified for State Shooting Sports in Pierre this weekend.  We hope you have lots of fun, make many memories, and get a bull’s eye or two!!!!

Senior spotlights have been added to our Google Drive!!!!  We have more to add, but for right now you can read about, Logan Effling, Josh Feiner, Tom Hetland, Tamra Mann, Bailey Moody and Dillon Moore.  The spotlights can be accessed by going to our Google Drive (Under Forms & Publications), Miscellaneous Folder, and then the 2016 Senior Spotlight Folder.

5th grade will be testing today.

Mrs. Easton is gone today – there will be no vocal!  At 1:53 6th grade will report to Mrs. Farmer for study hall, at 2:39 7/8th will have study hall with Mrs. Vermeulen in the music room.  HS students will have study hall.

Ms. McClane is gone Monday, April 25th - no speech.

The gym is closed April 27 thru May 1st (all day & day night) for bleacher removal and installation.
ACADEMICS
Friday, April 29th is our extra help day.  We will run missing assignment reports for students from Campus the morning of Wednesday, April 27th.  We will re-run the campus list Thursday, April 28th, and begin calling parents at 1:00.  If you are failing a class or have missing assignments you will need to be here at 8:00 am the morning of the 29th.  Students - be sure to check out your portal and get a head start on any missing assignments.  Teachers be sure to use the missing and turned in options in your grade book so the portal is correct.  Thank you!

ATHLETICS
Football players in grades 6-8 – Saturday, April 23rd Blackhawk Jacob Fouberg will be hosting a football camp at Woonsocket from 9:00-3:00 as part of his senior project.  The only cost would be your lunch! The JH track meet at Howard on Friday has a 1:30 start time (not 3:00).  The bus will leave at 12:30 with Aiden, Katie, Samantha, and Cassidy on it.  The schedule can be found at

We will now be attending the track meet in Miller on May 3rd instead of the Don Diede Relays in Freeman.

Good Luck to the U6 & U8 Soccer teams as they host Woonsocket at 5:30 today.  The games are on as scheduled.  All U6 players please be here by 5:15 and all U8 players by 6:15.

The Sanborn Central/Woonsocket Ag program has received the Farm Credit Services of America Working Here Fund grant for $1830 to buy new textbooks and curriculum for Intro to Ag.  Thank you FCS America for your continued support of Agricultural Education and the FFA in our communities!
