The JH Football game scheduled for today at Sanborn Central vs Stanley County is cancelled.
Next action for JH and JV FB teams will be Monday, October 14th at Sanborn Central vs MVP.  JH at 4:30 pm followed by JV games. 
There will be JH practice tonight at SC

The junior high and C matches with Tripp/Delmont/Armour have been cancelled for tonight. 
Keep the win streak alive JV and V as you are on as scheduled.  6:30 start.

Monday October 14th we will be serenaded by the Brazilian Music Program at 1:00.  The ensemble will perform several songs, allowing an audience to hear examples of their unique music, language and style.  If you are wishing to view a public concert it will be held at the Huron Fine Arts Center at 7:00 p.m. Saturday, October 19th.

The following students will need to be at school on Tuesday, October 15 ready to load the suburban at 8:00AM to head to the CBH Oral Interp Contest in Mitchell: Brock Edwards, Morgan Hoffman, Kerstyn Schladweiler, Shania Cornelius, Isabella Bitterman, Zach Nelson (Leighton Tarbox, Reed Senska-Thompson, and Dayton Easton will ride with the All State participants). Dress nicely: NO hoodies or ripped jeans! Remember, you are performing and being judged on your professional look and demeanor.

The following students will be attending the All-State Chorus Prep Day at DWU in Mitchell on Tuesday, October 15th:  Lucy N, Dana S, Dayton E, Reed S, Casady D, Alexis K, Leighton T, Michael H, Harley K, and Kaden N.  The bus will leave Woonsocket at 7:30 am and Sanborn Central at 7:45 am. Students should return at approximately 2:30 pm.  Bring music folders and water.

It's that time of the year again! Fruit, meat, cheese and butterbraid sales are upon us once again this year. WANTED! Do you have Halloween decorations that you would like to part with?!?! The SCW FFA Chapter would love to take those off your hands. We are in need in Halloween decorations for our first annual SCW FFA Community Halloween Carnival on Saturday, October 26th. More information to come about the carnival next week!

October 14th concession workers are Daniel & April Kneen, and Tara Moody. This is a JH/JV FB game with Mt. Vernon/Plank 4:30 start)
October 14th for the VB game vs. Howard Melinda Salas, Jennifer Sheldon, Bob & Brenda Schmit, and Kayla Bitterman will be working concessions (4:00 start.)

Letcher Community Church Bazaar Sunday, October 13th from 4-7PM Turkey and all the trimmings will be served.   Adult meals will be $10, children to age 10 are $5, and Preschool is Free. Takeout meals are available for $10.
