Orange Day
It is National School Lunch Week.  Today elementary students have invited parents to join them for lunch.  At this time, we would also like to thank Laura C, Mary U, and Tina L for providing us with smiles and great food all year long - You are greatly appreciated!
Good Luck to the Cross Country team at regions today.

It’s Wednesday – parents will be receiving notification for missing assignments this afternoon.  Eligibility (MS Updates) are due at noon tomorrow.

Mrs. Easton is leaving early today – at 1:53 5th grade will report to the MS Lab with Mrs. Vermeulen and 6th to SH with Vickie.  2:39 7th grade will report to SH with Mrs. Vermeulen and 8th to Vickie.

HS FB practices at Woonsocket today.

7-12 VB is at SC today.

WWTS meets in Artesian today 3:45-5:30.


ACADEMICS

Grades need to be posted by Wednesday, October 23rd at 3:30.  Report cards will be distributed Friday, October 25th.

Oral Interp participants - make sure to let Ms. Farrell-Poncelet know if you plan to attend the Brookings Invite on October 28. Also, you need to schedule a time (or times) to come in and work on your piece(s). A signup sheet will be outside Ms. Farrell-Poncelet's door. 

Lost: One black and silver chrome book with a Blackhawk decal name sticker of Brock on the cover. If found bring to the office.

ATHLETICS
Yesterday the VB teams travelled to JVC.  The 7th grade lost 02, JV lost 1-2, and Varsity lost 2-3.  Leaders were: Kaylee white 22 digs, Taryn Ziebart 22 digs and 2 blocks, Brooke Doering 4 blocks and 14 kills, Trista White 2 blocks, Mariah Jost 17 kills, Morgan Schmiedt 18 assists, Ellie Von Eye 17 assists.

The JH and JV football teams finished their seasons Monday night.  The JH lost to MVP 6-0.  The JV finished their undefeated season with a 28-6 win over MVP.

All JH football players should wash their equipment and turn into Coach Flatten by Friday.

Oct. 22 the volleyball match with Hitchcock/Tulare is in Hitchcock with a 5:15 start with junior high, followed by JV and varsity.

SCW Blackhawks volleyball Dig Pink night is October 29th against MVP at SC. To buy a Luminary or donate a basket/ item for the silent action please contact any volleyball player. A flyer is located outside of the office for a picture of the shirt that to order. BAND/CHORUS

COMMUNITY
The public is invited to the annual Fedora Presbyterian Church Supper Sunday, October 20th, with serving starting at 4:30. Ham, Baked Potatoes, Coleslaw, Candied Carrots, and Home Made Pies will be served. We will have a delivery service to Artesian, Fedora, and Howard for $1.00. Call 527-2631 between 1:00-4:00PM on October 20th to order. Prices are; adults $10:00 ages 5-11$5.00 4 and under are free.
