Sanborn-Central character counts kick off week is October 22-25 starting with Tuesday as “Pick a Pillar Day” and
students will be asked to pick a pillar and wear the corresponding color: Trustworthiness-blue Respect-yellow, Responsibility-green Fairness-orange, Caring-red
and Citizenship-purple.
Wednesday-“Wish Upon a Star Wednesday” Who’s your favorite star? Who do you admire? Students will identify their own star.

Drive Friday” Tis the time of the year when the food banks are in need of
donations. Please send 1 box or can of

item to school any day next week. Your
donations will be taken to the Sanborn County Food Bank. A box will be available outside the office
and donations from the public will also be accepted.
Oral interp participants - make sure to let Ms. Farrell-Poncelet know if you plan to attend the Brookings Invite on October 28. Also, you need to schedule a time (or times) to come in an work on your piece(s). A signup sheet will be outside Ms. Farrell-Poncelet's door.

Oct. 22 the volleyball match with Hitchcock/Tulare is in Hitchcock with a 5:15 start with junior high, followed by JV and varsity.
TDA's Volleyball game, which was postponed last week, is rescheduled for Saturday, Oct. 26 in Woonsocket. There will only be JV and Varsity game contests starting with the JV at 1:00PM.

The public is invited to the annual Fedora Presbyterian Church Supper Sunday, October 20th, with serving starting at 4:30. Ham, Baked Potatoes, Coleslaw, Candied Carrots, and Home Made Pies will be served. We will have a delivery service to Artesian, Fedora, and Howard for $1.00.
