As a safety precaution we would like the area between the parked cars and the sidewalk in the front of the school be clear at all times.  When you are dropping off or picking up your child please pull into a parking spot!

What a great day to be a Blackhawk……. Both girls and boys will be in the Championship games of the 281 Tournament tomorrow. The gals will play Hitchcock/Tulare at 6:00 and the guys JVC at 8:00. Let’s fill the stands in the Huron Arena with BLACKHAWK FEVER!!!!! KOKK will be broadcasting the games.

A student forget their Black Northface size large coat at the Huron Arena last night....hoping someone might have grabbed it.  If you have a extra coat of this description let the office know.

Campus will notify parents of missing assignments this afternoon. If you don’t want on the list, make sure all work is turned in this morning! Eligibility is due at noon tomorrow.

Last day for HS to add and drop classed is tomorrow!


Friday's menu has been changed to Meatballs with Baked Mac & Cheese, Steamed Carrots, WW bread & Jelly, pineapple, and bananas (this was originally 1-24 menu.)  Next Thursday we will enjoy Italian Stromboli, green Beans, and a chilled fruit choice.

This day is approaching fast!  The junior class will be selling half pound boxes of fudge (9 flavors and 2 additional sugar free options) and roses for Valentine's Day. They will have five rose packages available this year. Talk to your favorite junior to order yours now! All orders must be placed by January 18th to ensure they arrive in time.  You could put a smile on someones face by thinking of them.

The juniors have both kettle and caramel corn available for purchase.   They are 1 for $2 or 3 for $5.

FFA
FFA CDE season is soon here, so that means practice time! Everyone who is participating in a CDE this spring is required to attend practices. If none of the times listed are an option for you, get in contact with Miss. Ronning to schedule another time. Members please let Miss. Ronning know which session(s) you will be attending.

January 19th- DWU is offering a baseball fundamentals camp that takes place Jan 19th and a pitching and hitting camp that will be held Feb 6th.

January 22nd-The Woonsocket Community Library Friends of the Library Used Book Sale will be held from 12:00PM-8:00PM in the Woonsocket School Commons.  We have had more books than usual donated this year (Thank you, donors!), and would love for you to stop by and look at them.  There is something for everyone.  Books can be purchased with a free will donation, and all proceeds will go towards purchasing more books for the library.  Stop by between 4:00PM and 8:00PM to also view some awesome Blackhawk basketball, as there is a double header against Hanson that evening as well.  Hope to see you there!
