The Blackhawks travel to Howard for games today – Bus at 2:55. The JV Girls are scheduled to tip off at 4:00 followed by the JV Boys, Varsity girls, and Varsity Boys. Howard is hosting a Papa Murphy’s Feed with Root Beer Floats starting at 4:30

Drumline is scheduled to practice at SC today.

All Powerlifters competing at O'Gorman Saturday will need to have their opening weights decided today and must be weighed by Mr. Flatten before they leave school on Friday. The cost is $20 per lifter, and we will leave the school at 5:45.

January 6th-Little Blackhawk Cheerleaders mini-practice session will be held at 2:00 in Woonsocket.  January 8th they will be performing at the basketball game in Woonsocket.

January 7th-The JH bb KWL game at White Lake has now been change back to the original time

January 17th-is the last day for HS students to add/drop classes.

January 18th-"All you need is love"...or chocolate and roses. The junior class will be selling half pound boxes of fudge (9 flavors and 2 additional sugar free options) and roses for Valentine's Day. They will have five rose packages available this year. Talk to your favorite junior to order yours now! All orders must be placed by January 18th to ensure they arrive in time. Plan Ahead!!!!!

It's that time of year for boys state application.

Juniors - South Dakota American Legion (SDAL) Boys State program.  

                The application process is now open until April 1, 2019.  You can access the Boys State

Confirmation will now be held every Sunday morning at 10 AM at the Letcher Community Church.

Reverend Garry Swagger Memorial Service, Saturday 1/5 at 1:00 PM at the Mitchel Wesleyan Church

The Artesian Community Center kitchen will be undergoing a makeover at the beginning of 2019, including new cabinets, countertops, and appliances. There are several dishes and other kitchen utensils that are no longer used. If you or your family made a donation of any items that you would like back, please contact Kaci Bechen (520-0720). Any items that are no longer used or claimed will be donated prior to the remodel.

If you have completed the required training necessary shooting Sports practice will begin on Sunday, January 6th at 2 pm and regular practice will run 2-6 each Sunday for guns & archery, and 6-9 each Tuesday for guns only. We are also working on adding 22 rifle to our discipline options (must be junior age level or older – ages 11-18).  If you are interested in more information, contact Paula Linke at plinke@santel.net or 605.350.2813.
