will be attending the High School Choral Leadership Workshop at NSU in Aberdeen
on Wednesday, October 3rd: Lucy Nicholson, Tory Reinders, Dayton Easton,
Alexis Kelly, Harley Kneen, Shania Cornelius, Leighton Tarbox, and Teagen
Swearingen. The bus will leave Sanborn Central at 6:00 am and Woonsocket
at 6:15 am.
Friday, October 5th the band students
will leave SC at 7:15 – Alex S, Evan E, Casady D, Michael H, Toby K, Brady L,
Sidney S, Samantha D, Dayton E, Renee F, Brighten H, Madi M, Mason M, Katie M,
Chloe R, Adriana S, Dana S, Katie S, Leighton t, and Abby V
A representative from MTI will be at Sanborn
Central at 11:30 on Monday, October 8th.
Monday, October 15th at 7:45 staff and students
will be treated to the Annual Flu Shot Clinic. The volleyball teams have
games that night and the Sanborn County Nurse will return on October 18th
to give anyone a shot that didn’t receive it previously. Forms will be
sent home with Pre-K thru 5th grade and placed on lockers for 6th
thru 12th. Forms are due back Thursday, October 4th.

BAND
The
Blackhawks Marching Band will be traveling and attending the Lake Area Marching
Festival in Chester, SD on Friday, October 5th. This festival is a great
opportunity to watch other bands and receive feedback on our marching and
playing! What to Bring:

wear under your uniform

lunch or own lunch

when we travel to White Lake for Volleyball they will be hosting a Think Pink
Night. Complete with a silent basket auction, specials at concession

heart transplant. We are pleased to
share that Kadie is doing well and at home.

As many of you know Mrs.
Reimer, our 2nd grade teacher, has been diagnosed with colon cancer.
She is a wife, mom, grandma, sister, aunt, friend, one of our own, and so much
more - she is so very special to many of us. We have created this shirt so we
