The following students will be attending the
Faulkton Land and Range Contest on Wednesday, September 19th. Sam D.,

Sawyer S., and Austin S. The bus will
pick students up at: Sanborn at 6:15 am and Woonsocket by 6:35 am.

Are you ready for some football?! The junior class is! Help
them out with their prom fundraising efforts by purchasing a yard line. For $5,
you get to choose a yard line and if the
last play of the homecoming football game ends on YOUR yard line, you win half of the money. Contact your favorite junior,
come to the volleyball game on Saturday, September 15, or email susan.farrell-poncelet@k12.sd.us
to purchase your yard line.

September 21st is the homecoming parade in Woonsocket. All
band students are required to ride the band bus to and from Woonsocket. We
want to ensure that all band members are on time to line up. The only exception will be a band student
being picked up following the parade – must have written parental permission prior
to 3:15 on Wednesday – September 19th.
HS students who have written parental permission
(prior to 3:15 Wednesday, September 19th) may be dismissed at
11:00am.
HS students who
do not have written excuses prior to
3:15 on Wednesday will be required to
stay at SC until the 3:15 dismissal.
ALL EL/MS
students be sure to return your bussing slips for Friday afternoon by
Wednesday. Extra ones are in the office
if you need it or can be found at
FFA will be hosting a tailgate
supper prior to the football game with Chamberlain on Friday, September 21st:
The SC Boosters are
gearing up to make our homecoming week the best yet - A boy and girl from the
elementary, middle school, and high school as well as a staff member will be
chosen as the most spirited Blackhawk of the day!!!! Monday-Thursday at 3:00 the winners will be
announced and invited to the concession stand for a treat. Mr. Siemsen is getting on board by donating a
“Blackhawk” yard sign to the “Most Spirited Student” and a community
