the Lady Blackhawks fell to Warner in the Hanson Early Bird tournament. Next action is Tuesday when Hanson come to
SC. It’s also parent night. 4:00 will find the 7th grade on
the court followed by 8th, C, JV, and Varsity.

last night against Redfield.
7-12 VB will
practice at SC today.

the Varsity FB team as they travel to Bridgewater tonight. BBE is hosting a tailgate beginning at 5:45.
Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00. A
tailgate party will be in Bridgewater Friday, August 24th beginning
at 5:45 – Pulled Pork Sandwich, Chips, Water, and a Dilly Bar for $6

The FFA
chapter will be ordering apparel, talk with Miss. Ronning if you would like to
order a t-shirt or sweatshirt - anyone is able to order a shirt/sweatshirt,
this helps show support for
the FFA chapter. Shirt is $15 and Sweatshirt $20. Here’s what the shirt
will look like
FFA members who do not
have their own FFA jacket and tie/scarf, are encouraged to apply for a
scholarship through the SD FFA Foundation to receive one, please see Miss.
Ronning for the application. Applications are due September 20th.

The SC Booster Club is hosting a Pampered Chef fund raiser
with proceeds going to the athletic complex. Orders
are due by September 5th. If someone would rather look at a
book I have them at the school. All checks can be made out to Julie Bebout.
There is a $5.25 shipping fee on each person's order, orders will be sent to
the SC Booster Club and distributed. If you would like your order shipped
directly to you there will be an additional shipping charge. If anyone has any
ordering questions or would like to place their order over the phone they can

COMMUNITY
Pastor Garry, from the
Letcher Church, has mailed permission notes for bussing for Sonshine Club from
Sanborn Central. Sonshine Club will meet on September 5th.
If we do not have a signed permission slip, the bus will not drop your child
off at church or allow to ride with Pastor Garry. We would like to have
all forms back by September 4th to avoid a last minute rush.
