Blue Day
We made it through
our first day of school and are super excited for our first full day!
Football practice is at Springs today.
VB practice is at SC today.
Don’t forget to turn your packet forms into the
office.
School pictures will be taken Friday. MS & HS students keep your picture forms
to hand to the photographer tomorrow.
There will be a FFA
meeting on Monday, August 20th at 6:30 pm in Miss. Ronning's classroom at
Sanborn Central. Parents and students are both encouraged to attend to go over
events and policies for FFA this school year, as well getting to know Miss.
Ronning. Root beer floats will be provided!
Tomorrow
night is our first football game - Wagner will be travelling to Springs for a
7:00pm kick off! The Wessington Springs Athletic Boosters and
Spartan Girls Basketball team will be doing a tailgate supper starting at 6:00
pm. Burgers, chips, and soda.
The football game will also be broadcast at following site: http://wessingtonspringsspartans.liveticket.tv/ and

Gear is available once again. Orders are due August 29th – You

The SC Booster Club is hosting a
Pampered Chef fund raiser with proceeds going to the
athletic complex. Orders are due by September 5th. If
someone would rather look at a book I have them at the school. All checks can
be made out to Julie Bebout. There is a $5.25 shipping fee on each person's
order, orders will be sent to the SC Booster Club and distributed. If you would
like your order shipped directly to you there will be an additional shipping
charge. If anyone has any ordering questions or would like to place their order

Artesian area WWTS (Walking with the Savior) will begin
Wednesday, August 15thfrom 5:30-6:45 pm and continue each Wednesday at the
Artesian First Lutheran Church until early May. All area youth ages kindergarten
through 6th grade are welcome to attend. This year’s focus will be
on Bible lessons from the Old Testament. There will be lots of
activities, crafts, games and songs to enhance each week’s lesson. Judy
Wormstadt and Wanda Effling will be the leaders this year. Plan to have
your youth come and join the fun and learning. If you have any questions
call Judy at 527-2342.
