Mason Moody and family – thank you so much for allowing us to ride along this past week! You made us proud!!!! You can catch all the stellar action on RFDTV and The Cowboy Channel the month of August.
           From Tracy Moody: Wow!!! What a week! We are home and I cannot thank everyone enough for your support! I haven't even had time to read all posts and I apologize if I forgot to text someone back! Saturday night was a night I will never forget, the home crowd was awesome!! Ending results=
1.Bareback ended 14th
2.Goats ended 3rd. Posted his best time ever this week, 3rd fastest of all perfs.
3. Bulls ended 8th. Had 2nd highest score of all perfs. And our crowd went wild! Maybe Logan will post a video, but none were good because we were all standing and cheering in our area 😂
4. Brought home 4 buckles and scholarship money.
5. Spent time with great friends and made many new friends. God is so good!! I am blessed with family and friends that are #1 in the world!!!!

From Coach Flatten: Reminder: No workouts this week as we celebrate the birth of our great country. Take time and rest, as it is well deserved. Hopefully, our beach bodies will be in full effect this week.

From FFA chapter President Katie Schmit! For 4th of July FFA BBQ... Officers please come by 10 to set up and get things ready. All other FFA members and any parents that want to help by 11:30 or following the parade. FFA members - as a reminder you need to stay for the whole BBQ and help clean up and FFA members who can't stay should find someone to take over for them. Thank you! Please spread the word to all FFA members and parents.

BOOSTER CLUB.....We would like to invite everyone to the SC Booster Club meeting on July 8th at 8:00pm in the commons at SC. We will be discussing the football field/storage funding and would like as much input as possible. If you have any thoughts on this and cannot attend please email Melissa Ettswold at mjetts00@gmail.com. Hope to see you all there!! 

July 10-15 we can follow Tater Moody, Cayden Slykhuis, and Tryce Slykhuis at the National Little Britches Finals in Guthrie, OK. Cayden & Tater Moody made it in Ribbon Roping & Team Roping (only 17 points behind the #1 team in the nation!) and Tryce made it in the flag race. The guys are selling raffle tickets for a Ruger 243 rifle. Tickets are $20 a piece or 3 for $50. If anyone would like to buy some tickets let me know! The boys they are also raffling a 5 Star saddle pad! 3/4” thick...$10 a ticket or 3 for $25. THE DRAWING FOR BOTH WILL BE JULY 4th!! Following the Little Britches rodeo we can be cheering for Miss Madi Moody at the National HS Rodeo in Pole Bending. This rodeo will be held July 15-21st in Rock Springs, Wy. You can follow this rodeo at https://www.nhsra.com/high-school-division/

Our Library is getting a much needed face lift!
