Blue Day – Tutoring
It’s Senior Project work Day – One step closer Gals and Guys!  Wednesday, March 28th the seniors will be presenting their senior projects.  You have to be here for your presentation and can enjoy the rest of the day!

Summer Youth Ball forms are due today.

Girls Willie Mac practices at 6:00 in Woonsocket today.

Weber Willie Mac will practice at SC at 7:00 today.

High school students wanting to order prom shirts need to have their orders in by Thursday, March 22nd at 3:15! The order form is in Mr. Flatten's room. 

High school Students – sign up for Post Prom by April 3rd in Mr. Flatten’s room.

Friday, March 23rd at 6:30 in the SC Gym the Winter Guard will do a public show for those interested.

Friday, March 23rd there will be a football meeting for all interested players in grades 8-11 at 9:15 in the HS Lab.

ACADEMICS
Seniors - Don't miss the Build Dakota Scholarship. It is due March 31st. ​Remember the details that say optional are NOT optional. If you actually want to get the scholarship - PUT IN THE WORK :)

Interested in Law Enforcement? The South Dakota Youth Trooper Academy will be held June 25 - 29, 2018 (All expenses paid by SDHP and SD American Legion).  Application deadline is March 23, 2018. See Mrs. Johnson for an application. 

 Sophomores & Juniors - Start thinking about what dual credit classes you would like to take fall semester next year. The application opens in April. In order to ensure all paperwork is in order and sent in prior to the end of school we need to have signed paperwork back to me by May 4th. 
High School Dual Credit webinars, one in the morning and one in the afternoon.
For: Students and Parents - The guest links are below and will require that you type your name in as a guest.  Please include your high school name so we can track who participated.  I’ve also included dial-in information in case you have any audio issues.  The webinars will include basic dual credit information, along with information about the General Education requirements and course selection. During the webinar, you can type in your questions and we will answer them after the presentations.  The webinars will be recorded for viewing at a later date if these days and times don’t work for you or your students.

Bob Steckel (605-579-0120) and Tom Fridley will be hosting a hunt safe course at the Sanborn County 4-H Building April 5th, 6th, and 7th.  This course is open to anyone who will be 12 years old by December 31st.  A signup sheet is available in the office or you can register on-line https://gfpga.sd.gov/outdoor-learning/hunter-education/ClassList.aspx

Tasha Moody, a 2012 graduate, has asked to share this with our community.  What a wonderful gesture and easy to help with!
Freedom Bags -The March Hands and Feet opportunity through Life 96.5 http://life965.com/?p=583670&preview=true ) radio station is hosting an event to assemble Freedom Bags. Freedom Bags are for women who have been a subject of human trafficking. Each bag will include items that will make the woman feel whole again and will give them a start as they transition back into a normal lifestyle. If you feel so inclined to donate any items feel free to drop them off at Amy Moody’s house in Letcher or at the Sanborn Central School Office. The Artesian First Lutheran ladies will have their annual Easter Bake Sale on Saturday, March 31st from 9:30-11:00 am at the Artesian Community Center.  It will be held in conjunction with the CIA Easter Egg Hunt which will begin at 10:00 am.  Coffee, lemonade and rolls will be served.  Regular and baby size quilts made by the First Lutheran Quilters will be available for sale.  Come and let the ladies do your Easter baking for you!!!
