& 4th grade boys’ basketball will have practice on Thursday,
November 2nd at 6:00 pm in Woonsocket.
There has been a large pile of lost and found
(including shoes and water bottles) invading the office for weeks. I’ve
set them in the hallway the last two mornings for students to see as they enter
the building. If you are missing anything – please have your child stop
in the office. They are leaving the building TOMORROW!!!!

postmarked by November 6th so do not wait!
Seniors – This week is
Free College Application Week! During College Application Week, seniors at
participating high schools are eligible for up to three free applications to
South Dakota postsecondary institutions. Seniors can stop in Mrs.
Johnson's office Thursday for useful information, timelines, help on
applications, and a snack.
ATHLETICS
The 8th Grade Girls Basketball Team will be traveling to
Hanson on the 11th to play in the JH tournament. A schedule will be sent home
with the girls when we receive one.

Friday – November 3rd Sanborn Central will host a Pep Rally
at 2:30 to send the FB team off to the final playoff game.
It has
been confirmed by Q107 that they will broadcast Friday night’s football game

The game is being played at Bob
Young Field (USF) in Sioux Falls. It is just south of 69th
Street on Cliff Avenue.
Blackhawk fans will sit in bleachers

the 5/6th Girls and Boys travel to JVC for a tourney. The girls play at 9

HELPING
SCEA is working
to collect clean, gently used warm coats and winter accessories from
now until November 4th. The process is simple: you drop off your extra
coat(s) in the box at Sanborn Central and SCEA takes care of the
rest. All donated coats will be cleaned and made available for
distribution to Sanborn Central students in need. Mrs.
