Bridgewater/Emery
travels to SC tonight for a full slate of games. At 3:00 C Girls tip off followed by JVG, JVB,
VG, and VB. (Ms. McClane and Mrs.
Sanderson). Q 107 http://www.q107radio.com/ will broadcast the
games and they will be on our Santel Channel 107.
Pep Band WILL NOT play tonight.

The
Blackhawk boys moved to 3-1 on the season with a 65-37 win over
Hitchcock-Tulare on Saturday. Helping were: Trey—2 pts,1 reb, 6
ast, 3 st, 1 blk Trent—4 pts, 10 reb,4 ast, 4
st Logun—14 pts,3 reb, 3 ast, 3 st
Jared—3 pts, 3 reb, 1 ast, 1 st Shaun—4 pts, 4 reb, 2
blk Noah—12 pts, 5 reb, 2 st Wyatt—24
pts, 11 reb, 1 ast, 2 st , 4 blk Tater—2 pts, 2
reb We shot 28/61 FG for 45% and 7/10 FT
for 70%. We out rebounded them 39-21 with 21 offensive reb.
Coach Olson’s comments: We seemed a little impatient the first half with
some missed shots and 9 turnovers but we were aggressive gathering 14 offensive
rebounds by halftime. We did not shoot well the first half (1/12 on 3’s) but we
got a lot of 2nd shots. We talked about patience in transition
and looking for something out of our secondary break and cutting down turnovers
(only 5 2nd half) and we could break the game open. The boys
focused and came away with a win in a tough gym to play in. We will have
a great challenge with a highly ranked B/E team tonight.
