Orange Day – Semester Testing

want a parking spot close to the gym door on those cold

will close on Tuesday, December 22 at noon!!!!
High school students are semester testing!
Students with failing grades (from the eligibility pulled on December 15th)
or missing assignments will need to be here all day both days. Those of
you not on this list will only need to be here for the classes you are being
tested in or if the teacher tells you your presence is required. We ask
that students sign in and out as you come and go.

to the JH and C Basketball teams as they host MVP in Woonsocket today. JHG tip off at 5:30 followed by the JHB, CG,
and CB. These
are the players who make up the Boys C-Team. Please be at the game
tonight 1hr early in Woonsocket. You will have no practice tonight after
school: Austin Schmit, Sawyer Senska, Tater Moody, Cayden Slykhuis, Carter
Linke, Malachi Bruce, Kadin Schlenker, Ryan Poyer
HS
basketball will practice at Sanborn Central today.
Kid Quest
with 5th grade begins at 1:55 today and 6th grade at 2:35.
There will
be no Tutoring on Tuesday, December 20th.
Wednesday, December 21st high school
students are not required to attend.
BREAKING NEWS!!!! All Computers with cords must be in the Power
Ports by noon on Tuesday, December 20th!!!! Updates will be done over break. If it’s not here you may be a month without
it due to length of updating.

January lunch and breakfast menus have been uploaded to our Google Drive.
There will
not be tutoring on Tuesday, January 3rd when we return to school.
ATHLETICS
We have
been asked by the MVP fans to wear our #Believe and #Bstrong t shirts on
Tuesday as it is their "Shoot for a Cure" night. I've been told
that those from MVP that bought those shirts will also be wearing them.
So dig em out and put em on! See you Tuesday!
December 20th, when the
Blackhawks travel to Plankinton for a double header they are hosting their 7th
Annual Shoot for A Cure Night. This event is sponsored by the Plankinton
Student Council along with a whole host of other organizations. They do
a supper, silent auction (which basket donations are always accepted until the
event begins), half time pop a shot games and raffles! All proceeds are
then given to the Aurora County Cancer Fund, LLC
Kool 98
has declared the Mount Vernon/Plankinton vs. Sanborn Central/Woonsocket
doubleheader as their DeKalb/Asgrow Game of the Week.

Dec. 21-
NO Practice ----- Shoot Around- Woony GB/BB players at Woony after
dismissal, SC GB/BB players at SC after dismissal ; Dec. 22-
Practice Cancelled; Dec. 26- Add GB practice 5PM at SC and
BB practice 5PM at Woony

Community
POSTPONED UNTIL WEDNESDAY,
DECEMBER 21st!!!!The Artesian Community
Improvement Association will be holding their annual Ham Drawing/Membership Drive on Wednesday,
December 21st at the
Artesian Community Center. Supper will be served at 6:30. Drawings and a visit
from Santa will follow! Membership dues are $20 a couple and go towards summer
youth programs and community events.
It’s meatloaf at the Country Pumper today!!!!
There will be no WWTS in Artesian on December 21st
or December 28th. It will resume on January 4th!
