Orange Day

Congratulations Lady Blackhawks!!!  Headed to Regional Championship against the Cardinals tomorrow night at 7:00 pm in Arlington!  Fans these gals haven’t given up and would love to see all of us there tomorrow night!  VB players will leave Woony at 4:15 and SC at 4:25 tomorrow.

The 5/6th ball teams host Wolsey/Wessington at 5:00pm tonight in Woonsocket.

Volleyball will practice at SC tonight.

7/8th Girls will practice at Woony tonight.

3/4th Boys will practice at 6:00 at SC tonight.

Winterguard practice for today has been moved to Wednesday at Woonsocket!

It’s financial Aid night at 6:00pm in Woonsocket for any interested parents and students.

4th Block Ag Students have privileges today.

There will be an elementary meeting today, Monday in Mrs. Farmer’s room at 3:30.

Tomorrow is Election Day!!!!!! The HS Student Council plans on bringing voters into the cafeteria to vote based on grades.  Teachers will be able to vote then also.  We should have some voting booths setup, maybe three or so.  We will have student council reps in the cafeteria.  8:30-9:00 HS Students, 9:00-9:20 MS Students, 9:20-9:50 K-2 (In this order), 9:50-10:10 3-5 (In this order)

*Staff - Everyone is asked to write down one interesting fact about yourself and turn it into Mary by Wednesday, November 9th.

Fuel Up to Play 60 Kick Off for students in grades PreK-8th will be at 2:30 Thursday.

The schedule for the Cancer Tournament to be played in Woonsocket on November 12th has been uploaded to our Google Drive

FFA
FFA members attending the Harrisburg invite today will Leave Woonsocket at 12:45 p.m. and SC at 1 p.m. Please let students out 15 minutes early so they can get changed into OD and will be ready to go at the leave time.  Students Attending: Trent K, Sarah M, Catherine B, Garrett D, Trevor O, Katie S, Noah D, Cayden S, Samantha D

A tentative Winterguard schedule has been uploaded to our Google Drive……November 14th has already been moved to Woonsocket.  A parent meeting will be held Keep in mind when viewing this that it is TENTATIVE

BOOSTER CLUB
Co-Ed Volleyball at Sanborn Central on Sunday’s. We will start on November 13th and the 20th, then December 4th, 11th and 18th.  It will cost $15 per person. Teams will consist of 3 men and 3 women playing.  If you have a team ready to go, just let me know,  Tambi.wormstadt@fcsamerica.com or 605-770-3077. Or you can talk to any booster club member.  Otherwise if you don’t have a team and would still like to play, come and we will put you with a team if we can.  We will start at 3 pm each Sunday and go until teams have played.  There will be a waiver to sign if you are playing.  Hope to see you there!!


COMMUNITY
The Sanborn Central High School Student Council will be hosting a Veteran's Day Program on Thursday, November 10th beginning at 9:00 AM.  An invitation is extended to area Veterans (and the public) to attend as this is a day we honor you!

American Education week is November 14th -17th.  November 17th is Community/Parent Day – If you would be willing to read to a class (or know someone who would) please let us know.  Community members/parents are more than welcome.  Call 495-4183  or e-mail mary.ackman@k12.sd.us
