Orange Day

NO TUTORING – MY ERROR!!!!

Good Luck to the Cross Country team as they travel to Arlington today (Austin, Tater, Kayla, Myah).  The bus will leave at 1:30 from Woonsocket.

The Lady Blackhawks host Springs in Woonsocket today. Again – my error - the VB schedule is JH/C/JV/V starting at 4:30.  

 The Pep Band will play tonight in Woonsocket.

The Woonsocket NHS will be serving Hamburger and Chips for $7, or just a hamburger for $4 at the Volleyball Game against Wessington Springs tonight.

HS/JH FB practice is in Woonsocket tonight.

Tonight Dave Williams will be in the Woonsocket for an instrument showcase from 6pm to 8pm. Stop by and get your student an instrument and then stick around to support your Blackhawks volleyball!!

Academics

There will not be tutoring tonight or Thursday!  Here is a schedule for September

Parent-Teacher Conferences are Thursday, September 15^th, from 2:00-7:00.  MS/HS Students whose parent contacts a teacher will receive bonus points in that class.  Parents are welcome to call or e-mail teachers if they can’t attend conferences.  The last day for parent contact to receive your bonus points is September 22^nd.

Juniors and Seniors - September 20th is College Fair Day. We will be picking up the Sanborn Central students at 8:25am. DON'T FORGET Money for lunch! If you have not registered for the day with Mrs. Johnson please see her this week. 

Athletics

Admission to Friday’s JV/JH FB game with Iroquois at SC will be $4/adult and $2/student.

Marching Band: The marching band will not be going to Platte Friday Sep. 16th. Instead, we will be having an all day camp at Woonsocket from 9am to 3pm to finish learning our routine for parade.

FFA

The signup sheet for the Wessington Land and Range School is on the board in the Ag Room.  Sign up deadline is the end of today.   Wessington Land and Range School will be held next Wednesday, September 21st.  Leave times TBA.
