Happy Birthday Timmy Kelly, Zach Nelson, and Mrs. Coulthard!!!!
Today is Ms. Fischer’s “official” last day at Sanborn Central…..we wish her nothing but success knowing that any classroom with her at the helm will be a wonderful experience for students.  Thank you for spending the 2015-2016 school year in Rebel Country!
Congratulations 2nd grade!!!  You have earned your “Good Behavior Party”.  They will be celebrating on May 12th

The Children’s Theatre Stage is set up – the gym is off limits until May 16th due to awards night and the HS play!!!!!

ACADEMICS
Awards night is quickly approaching – May 9thSeniors will bring Desserts, Juniors Salads, Sophomores Main Dish, Freshman Main dish, 8th grade Salads, 7th grade Desserts, and 6th grade Main Dishes.  Staff may bring a salad or dessert.

It’s Thursday which means eligibility is pulled at Sanborn Central! Parents with students with missing assignments should be receiving an automatic notification from Infinite Campus with a list of missing assignments at approximately 1:00pm today.  Any feedback would be greatly appreciated mary.ackman@k12.sd.us

FFA
FFA SAE night times and dates have been established:   Monday, May 16th in the Sanborn Central Ag Room at 7 p.m.  and Tuesday, May 17th in the Woonsocket Ag Room at 7 p.m.
          What is an SAE
          The types of SAEs (Entrepreneurship, Placement, or Agribusiness)
          The expectations of SC/W FFA members as related to SAEs (during the school year and the summer)
          How to access the record keeping system the FFA uses (www.theaet.com)
          How to enter basic SAE records
          FFA awards from SAE projects (proficiency awards, SD FFA Star awards)

Mr. Gross will be putting on an informational night for parents about Supervised Agricultural Experiences (SAEs).  This informational night will cover the following:
