WE DID IT!!  The Sanborn Central Scholarship Foundation Board would like to say a HUGE thank-you to everyone for helping us complete the $50,000 Tanna Kingsbury “Believe” Scholarship Challenge set by the Boyd & Dody Hopkins Families.  We wish to especially thank Wes & Sherri Stekl for all they have done in donating food, beverage, bouncy house, tables/chairs and above all a gathering place for an un”Believable” night.  We know they had their CREW as well (knowing there are many and not wanting to miss someone).  We thank all who have donated in so many different ways to help our students continue their education.  We are continued to be amazed but not surprised by your commitment to our youth.  Thank you.

ACADEMICS
We will not do eligibility or MS Updates this week.  However, we ask that you check your portal regularly and especially for missing assignments.

Mrs. Miller is back and ready to start tutoring on the 15th with MS and HS Students.  Elementary tutoring will be held on the 17th.

Varsity Boys Basketball Players – Breaking News:  An anonymous patron has offered to donate $40 per Sanborn Central player from the boys’ varsity team (7 total players) to help buy them their retired uniforms.  The boys will be receiving new uniforms next year in following the uniform replacement schedule.  The uniforms are being offered to the players at a cost of $20/shorts or top.  This is $40/set or $80 for both home and away sets.  This patron wishes to challenge others to help reward the boys for their entertaining season.

We ourselves feel that what we are doing is just a drop in the ocean.  But if that drop was not in the ocean, I think the ocean would be less because of that missing drop.  I do not agree with the big way of doing things. – Mother Teresa
