Happy Birthday Ellie Evans! June 10th – Dayton Easton will
celebrate. Isaac Rowlinson gains a year
on Friday with Mrs. Knigge celebrating on June 11th. June 12th Carter Hitchcock will
celebrate and Sunday, March 13th is Abby Vermeulen’s special day.
What an exciting
day today!!!!! The Blackhawk Winterguard
will perform at half time of the 1st game this evening at the State
Girls Basketball Tourney and the Lady Blackhawks are shooting for a victory in
the 2nd game!
We’ve
added a bit of a twist to the dress up attire at the Girls State Tourney for
the not so crazy fans or those of us who are lacking in creativity. To
show uniformity, these are suggested colors for each day at the B's - Go
Blackhawks!! Theme Days- Thursday- Jersey/Retro Night (Chosen by
Sanborn Central Student Body) or Black shirts, State Shirts, Baruth shirts,
etc. Friday - Cowboy-Country Theme (Chosen by Woonsocket Student Body)
or White or Gray shirts – old state shirts, FB Dome shirts, new gray apparel,
etc. Saturday- Everyone- BLACKHAWK DAY- Black, Red, Blue, White or
a little of everything. Regardless of
how you dress, the most important thing is to show your BLACKHAWK PRIDE!!!!
There will
be no elementary PE today.
Seniors in
Mr. Gross’ class will have privileges today.
There is a
science camp in Mitchell this Saturday -“Eggcellent Engineering” that still has some

ACADEMICS
Juniors - If you are interested in applying for
Boys or Girls State please see Mrs. Johnson on next Tuesday or Thursday. I have
applications for the Girls States and we need to inform the legions about Boy
State attendees as they will need to send payment. Thank You!

Today ends the 3rd quarter of this
school year. Students/Parents – please make sure that you have all your

Report cards will go home Thursday, March 17th.
The school
board meeting to be held Monday, March 14th will meet at 6:30am

students in Mr. Flatten's room. If still debating on going out, you're
strongly encouraged to attend.

A Conference Room at the
Crossroads has been reserved for a SOCIAL by the booster clubs for SC/W
parents/players/fans on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. The Booster Club Hospitality Room will be over-flowing with
excitement and fellowship at the B’s. Thursday
at 4:30 enjoy Pizza (free will offering) with a 5:00PM Pep Rally. Friday at 4:30
for cookies/cupcakes (free will offering), and Saturday at 4:30PM they will be
serving Subway Sandwiches (free will offering).
A WELCOME HOME CELEBRATION has
been scheduled for 12:00PM on Sunday in the Woonsocket Gym. A caravan will meet and escort the
team from the 3 mile corner east of Woonsocket starting at 11:45AM.
Everyone is welcome and encouraged to show support for our Blackhawk Girls
Basketball Team.

Band Students: Students
will need to wear concert black for a sharp ensemble look. We will begin tuning
at 6:30pm Monday evening. If you have any questions or concerns, please let me

The Woonsocket Band Parents are planning on a dessert/ice cream social
before and following the SCW Blackhawks Concert on Monday. Proceeds will
go to the Rob Baruth Fund. Find more

FFA: Mr. Gross will be in the
Sanborn Central Ag Room after school Monday, starting at about 3:30 p.m., if
