Orange Day
Good
luck to the JH G/ as they travel to Iroquois tonight. The girls will tip off at 6:00 followed by
the boys.
We
are having issues with chrome book chargers being left at home and students
grabbing chargers not belonging to them.
Each student is responsible for their own charger that is assigned to
their chrome book. Students have until
this Thursday, February 11th, to make sure that each charger is back
here at school. If this problem is not
fixed by Thursday, ALL chrome books will be taken away for a week, or until all
chargers are accounted for. – Mr. Siemsen
Winterguard
will practice at SC today.
Girls are at SC and Boys at Woony today.
A rep from SE Tech will be here at noon tomorrow,
February 9th.

Dance will be held Thursday, February 11th
ACADEMICS
Gone to Pierre on the
10th are Logan E & Byron J to the Business Plan Competition
There will be no
guidance on Thursday, February 11th.
Parent Teacher Conferences are Friday, February 12th
from 8:00am to 12:30pm. If your parent
can’t attend, but would like to visit with the teachers, please ask them to
call or e-mail them. Student whose
parents confer with the teachers will be given bonus points in that class. The deadline for receiving bonus points will
be noon on February 19th.
For conferences Mr. Olsen and Mrs. Johnson will be at Sanborn Central from 8:00 - 10:00.
Mr. Kroeger will not be here, but feel free to e-mail or call him.
ATHLETICS
The
Woonsocket and SC Boosters are selling Blackhawk apparel. The deadline is Thursday, February 11 to order. Checks can be made to the SC Booster
Club. Order forms are available in the
office and in the Google drive under the Athletics tab or by following this
link:
The
Schedule for the DWU/Culvers Classic on Saturday, February 13th has
been uploaded to our Google Drive. We
play Parkston at 1:00

Students attending the vocal music contest on

COMMUNITY
Coach Baruth has been cancer
free for 10 years, but unfortunately his Melanoma has returned. We are showing
him that we have his back in this journey by sporting our colors once
again. There will be an order placed for this shirt on Friday, February 12th (10:00
am deadline). Forms can also be picked up in the office. Orders can
