From Coach Olson: The
Boys Blackhawk BB team beat CBH foe Ethan last night by a score of 66-60.
Helping the way were: Dillon- 28 pts, 7 reb, 1 ast, 1 st, 3
blk Trevor- 3 pts,1 reb, 1 ast, 1 st Tucker-10
pts, 2 reb, 6 ast,2 st Trent- 3 pts, 5 reb, 2 ast, 4 st

ast We shot 29-64 FG for 48% and 4-10 FT for
40%. Coach Olson’s comments: The first half was an up
and down affair with a tied score at halftime. We thought we could wear
them down as they don’t play many guys but credit to Ethan as they battled us
all night. The second half we went on a little run with Dillon putting us
on his shoulders for a stretch but every time we were ready to get some
separation they knocked down a big shot to stay within range. Everyone
contributed to this win. Brady battled fouls all night but our bench especially
Garrett and Trent gave us great energy.

Our local National Wildlife Turkey Federation, in memory of our friend Lyle Collins, is offering a free membership to the JAKES program to any Sanborn Central Student. This membership includes 4 free magazines. Everything is paid for by the James River Gobblers and registration needs to be complete by February 3rd.
