At a session on liability issues at the ASBSD/SASD Convention the administration and school board were informed that it is a liability risk to allow students to play on the playground when there is a school-sponsored event without supervision. This also includes all those playing extra "football" games on either sideline or end zone areas.
NOTICE:  Children will no longer be allowed to play on the playground during volleyball or basketball games or any other school event without adult supervision.  During football games Mrs. Vermeulen will be watching the playground during the games but it is preferred that adults supervise their own children.  There will be NO extra football games at any time!

Don't forget that the mosquiotes are still alive and well in Sanborn County bring your bug spray. SC is hoping to fog before the game.

The Schedule for the JH VB tournament can be found on our Google Drive – Athletics – Volleyball Folder
The 5/6th Basketball schedule has been updated again.  Due to conflicts with W. Springs, we have switched the home and away games with Wess. Springs.  We also changed a 4PM start time for Oct. 19. The latest schedule can be found in our Google Drive – Athletics - Basketball

The 2015 Report Card is now available on the Department of Education website. The report card lets all stakeholders know the status of student achievement in the state, district and in the individual schools as well as performance of their student(s).  Individual reports were distributed at the beginning of the school year in the family packets.  A printed copy of the state, district, and school report cards is available in the office at the school in Forestburg as well as at Upland Colony.  If anyone would like a printed copy all you need to do is contact us at 605-495-4183 and we will print one and send it to you.
