Orange Day – Homework Club
Abby Vermeulen celebrated her birthday on Friday the 13th!  Cole Wormstadt and Madi Moody had birthdays on March 14th and Alex Wormstadt on March 15th.  Today is Mrs. Moore’s birthday with Gary Willman celebrating on June 16th!

Congratulations to the SCW Winterguard for an excellent performance Friday night at the state B’s!!!!

Congratulations to our youth wrestling members – Tryce Slykhuis received 4th, Mason Moody 1st, Layton Zoss 3rd, and Teagen Moody wrestled at the region tournament. Mason and Layton will advance to the state meet March 28th in Brookings!
Combined Band rehearsal today at Sanborn Central from 8:30-10:30.
There will be a short football meeting in Woonsocket today at 4:00 for next year’s high school players.

From Mr. Kroeger: Pie and Ice Cream Social starting at 6:15pm. Free will donations will go to help improve the growth Sanborn Central/ Woonsocket Band Programs.  Sanborn Central students need to bring: 2 pies per family. Pies need to be delivered to the school Monday morning and will be stored in the concession stand. Concert dress is all black. If anyone has an issue with this, please let me know and we can work something out.

If you can’t attend this evenings concert - tune into your Santel Channel 107 to watch live.

There will be open gym for golf today and tomorrow (March 16 & 17Th) Practice will start on Monday, March 23rd in Woonsocket gym. If in both track and golf; they need to attend at least 2 practices each week. If this is a problem, have them talk to me.  Their skill level may allow for an exception.  Coach Vandenhemel

Tomorrow the Class of 2015 reaches another milestone – Senior Experience Presentations!  The presentations will be held in Mrs. T Moody’s room.  Seniors remember to be here 30 minutes prior!

The Sanborn Central/Woonsocket FFA attended the final annual DeSmet Career Development Events (CDEs) yesterday. We continued the strong showing we had in Redfield.  There were a much larger number of students and chapters at this event.  Despite the level of competition increasing even more, our students made a great showing for our school and community. We will not do eligibility this week, however MS Homework Club and Updates will be completed at noon on Wednesday, March 18th.  Your MS student has the 3 day weekend to complete missing assignments or will need to stay Monday, March 23rd until 4:30 for Homework Club.
