A group of students are planning to make a trip to DC in May of 2015.  This is a great way to help them raise the funds needed as well as to get a new shirt! Blackhawk gear is available for a limited time! The online store is open until 11:59 pm Sunday, February 15th.  http://stores.blue84spirit.com/sd2603

Reminder……….Please do not make changes to your normal bus routes after 3:00 pm unless it is an emergency.  When we receive the call, we write notes for each student, put them on their lockers and write notes for the bus driver/drivers involved.  We want to make sure that everyone is aware of the change and gets on the right bus.  Calls made at one of the busiest times of day can easily be overlooked or forgotten and the last thing we want is to not have your child arrive safely at their destination!

The Sanborn Central School District has the following vacancies for the 2014-2015 school year:
**Regular Bus Route Driver – Position open immediately. Open until filled. (District will pay for physical and CDL tests.)
**Substitute bus drivers for the 2014-15 school year.  (District will pay for physical and CDL tests.)

Reminder:  Sanborn Central/Woonsocket FFA is seeking chaperones for the SD FFA State Convention in Brookings in April.  So far Mr. Gross has only heard from one parent.  Even if you have talked to me, please email to reconfirm!  There must be 1 chaperone for every 10 students.

Note: The Sanborn Central/Woonsocket FFA is seeking individuals interested in being a coach for FFA CDEs(Career Development Events).  Students have signed up for the following CDE areas: Ag Business Management, Agricultural Mechanics, Agronomy, Vet Science, Natural Resources, Meats, Milk Quality and Products, Horse Evaluation, and Floriculture.  If you are interested in helping in some way or have any questions, please contact Mr. Gross at shane.gross@k12.sd.us. Go to http://aged.sdstate.edu/SDFFA_home_files/Events%20&%20Announcements/SpringCDEs.html and scroll to the bottom of the page to learn more about each of our Spring CDEs.
