Blue Day – Tutoring
Reminder: If you are staying for tutoring, be sure to let the office know so the bus drivers aren’t waiting for you!
Good Luck to the Lady Blackhawks!  Wolsey/Wessington will face them today at 4:00 in the Huron arena.  KOKK will be airing the games if you can’t be there. The bus will leave here at 2:30.  Staff attending the game may leave after busses.

FFA Penny War totals from yesterday: 4th +846, PK-K +195, 3rd -17, 2nd -27, 7th -70, 8th -99, 6th -130,  1st -135, and 5th 150.  Don’t forget the war will end on Friday!  Winners will enjoy a cookout with the FFA!
Guys will not practice today so they can cheer the ladies on, but will on Sunday.
As long as our Blackhawk team posts a victory – we will show our pride again on Thursday!   We will still have our normal Friday Spirit Day!
Don’t forget that Wednesday is our favorite day of FFA Week – Donuts – bring your money!
There will be an elementary team meeting – Wednesday – February 25th at 7:45 in the conference room

We will not be doing HS Eligibility this week.  We ask that teachers keep the grade books up to date for parent and student viewing!  MS Eligibility, Updates, and Homework Club will be due Thursday at noon.

Please join us this Saturday night, February 28, for a Supper and Bean Bag Tournament in support of Tanna Kingsbury’s Believe Scholarship Challenge. This event will be held at the Stekl Shop near Letcher (40512 240th St. or 1 mile north and 1.25 miles east of Letcher). A pork loin supper will be served starting at 5:00 p.m. Registration for the bean bag tournament will be from 5:00 until 6:30 p.m. and the tournament will begin at approximately 6:30 p.m. Free will donations will be accepted for the meal, and tournament fees are just $20/team. Even if you don’t want to participate in the tournament, please join us for supper and the rest of the fun and festivities. There will be a silent auction going on, the tablet give-away winner will be announced, and a roll-over auction of Tanna’s heifer will take place. There will also be a bouncy house, photo booth, and many activities during the evening. Tracy Moody is applying for a Monsanto grant and part of the application process is to be nominated by as many local farmers as possible.  If you would consider taking the time to go to the following website and nominate our school, it would increase our chances of receiving the grant.  It is a very quick process, the district contact is Tracy Moody and her email is tracy.moody@k12.sd.us   Thank you in advance!
