Congratulations to our Region Vocal Contestants - Morgan Selland, Tamra Mann, Breanne Brandenburg, and Lori Eppe! Tamra received 27 points of 30 on her solo and the quartet received 35 of 35, so they all medaled.

Friday night at Highmore/Harrold the JV Lady Blackhawks won 23-18. Leaders were Allissa Ball 6 points and 3 assists, Abby Doering 5 points and 6 rebounds, and Megan Kleppin 4 points. The Varsity Ladies lost 37-48 with Myah Selland scoring 23 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists and 4 steals; Tayla Weber 6 points and 3 rebounds; and Morgan Selland 5 rebounds and 4 steals.
Last night at JVC the JV Gals won 43-16 behind Abby Doering 8 points, 3 rebounds, and 3 steals; Megan Kleppin 8 points , 8 rebounds, and 8 steals; Sarah Morgan 7 points and 6 rebounds; and Madi Moody 6 points and 4 assists. Varsity ladies also added another win 68-44 with Myah Selland 28 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists, 5 blocks, and 4 steals and Morgan Selland 17 points, 4 assists, and 3 steals.
If your parents were unable to attend conferences on Friday, you have until Wednesday, February 25th to receive your bonus points. Just have your parents call or email your teachers!

Tracy Moody is applying for a Monsanto grant and part of the application process is to be nominated by as many local farmers as possible. If you would consider taking the time to go to the following website and nominate our school, it would increase our chances of receiving the grant. Need a prom dress???? Saturday, February 21st from 9am to 3pm at the Wesleyan Church on 6th and Sanborn is the Glass SLipper’s annual event!! Any Prom dresses, shoes, or jewelry donations can be dropped off at the church office Tuesday-Friday between 9am and 4pm. More info to come soon! We will be collecting at Sanborn Central also.
