Orange Day
Happy Birthday Tamra Mann!
Girls and boys practice at Sanborn Central today due to the program tonight in the Woonsocket gym!
Students in grades 9-12 will leave today at 12:30 to attend the Todd Becker Assembly in Woonsocket.  A program will be held tomorrow evening at 7:00 pm for the public.  This would be a great parent/child event to attend.  The assembly tells the real life story of the decisions Todd Becker made that ultimately ended his life. Choice by choice and decision by decision, the message focuses not simply on the one night of drinking turned tragic, but more importantly, the seemingly innocent steps Todd took that led him into the grave all too early.  Based off the scripture Matthew 7:13, the assembly illustrates the two choices we are all faced with - the choice between the wide road or the narrow road: “The highway to destruction is wide and the road that leads to it is easy for the many who choose this way. But the gateway to life is small and the narrow road that leads to it is hard, but only a few ever choose this way.”
Rock Solid will be attending the presentation by the Todd Becker foundation tonight at the Woonsocket School.  We will be at The WAY Station from 6 pm until 645 pm where Rock Solid will pay for your meal.  Then we will go the presentation at the school.  Rock Solid is open to all students in grades 9-12. If you need a ride, please contact Amy Moody at 770-6016 or Garry Swagger at 248-2343. Hope to see you there. -  Amy Moody
