Good Luck to the 5/6th basketball teams as they travel to JVC for games beginning at 4:00 today. Players are leaving at 2:45 or as parents come to pick them up.

Volleyball districts begin today. Thursday, November 6th we will play the winner of the game tonight between JVC and Iroquois. That game will be at 6:00 here at Sanborn Central.
November is declared Citizenship month at Sanborn Central. Show your citizenship by wearing purple on Wednesday, November 5th.
Jr. Parli Pro (Freshmen) We will be practicing Jr. Parli Pro during 1st block at Sanborn Central tomorrow. The suburban will leave Woonsocket at 8 a.m. Students involved are-Trey W., Trent K., Abby D., Sarah M., Callie B., Bailey S., Catherine B.
Sanborn Central will be hosting Volleyball District games on November 6th and 7th. We are looking for six volunteers to help out in the concession stand. Please contact Tracy Moody if interested tracy.moody@k12.sd.us
In need of ticket takers for volleyball districts on Thursday and Friday - November 6th & 7th. This is a paid position but I am not sure what the district pays at this time. If you are interested, please contact Tim McCain as soon as possible at tim.mccain@k12.sd.us
District/Region games will not be aired on our local TV stations due to SDHSAA rules. Passes are not accepted either.

FFA Members- If you are participating in Fall Leadership next Monday, you MUST wear proper official dress. If you do not have proper official dress you will not be allowed to participate. Next week is Caring Rose Week at Sanborn Central. If anyone would like to order a dozen roses, they will be delivered to Sanborn Central on Wednesday, November 12th. Need some new Blackhawk gear?? A group of students are planning to make a trip to DC in May of 2015. This is a great way to help them raise the funds needed as well as to get a new shirt! The Artesian American Legion Auxiliary and Legion are sponsoring the Veterans Day Banquet on Sunday November 9, 2014 at noon in the Artesian Community Center. The cost of the meal is $10.00 for non veterans and veterans will receive a free meal. If you plan to attend please pre register by November 4, 2014 by calling Laura Pearson at 605-495-4290. We need to have a meal count to order the food.

URGENT - BUS DRIVER NEEDED: If you are willing to drive bus, we need you!!!!! Due to an illness of a bus driver we are in desperate need for a substitute driver. Even if you are not willing to get your CDL we could use you to drive the 14-passenger bus for a route as you don't need a CDL to drive that bus. The pay is $30 per route which takes about 70 minutes in the morning and about 80 minutes in the afternoon. Exact time varies depending on who rides. Leaves SC at 6:35am in the morning and leaves after the 3:20pm bell in the afternoon. Contact Mrs. Whitney if you would be willing to earn some extra money.
