Congratulations to the following volleyball 281 All-Conference:  1st Team: Myah Selland, 2nd Team: Morgan Selland, 3rd Team: Tayla Weber and Honorable Mention: Bailey Moody.
Congratulations to Samantha Dean, Adriana Salas, and Renee Farmer who were selected to participate in the MS Honors Band in Platte tomorrow!  Have Fun.
Congratulations  to Amberiah Smith who will participate in the HS Honors Band in Gregory on Monday, December 1st.
Band members – your food orders need to be turned in today.
Girls basketball will practice in Woonsocket today.
Boys Open gym and JH practice will be at Sanborn central today.
Ms. Wenzel is gone today.  6/7th grade will report to SH in the MS Lab at 10:23 today.
Reminder – no 5th keyboarding tomorrow.
Mrs. Chance is gone.  Mr. Everhart is filling in for her, but there will not be tutoring tomorrow.
Mr. Flatten will be in the weight room for anyone that is interested in working after school for the winter season.

Christmas Caring Tree for Sanborn County - Sponsored by Woonsocket Community Club!  Let the Woonsocket Community help make a child’s Christmas complete! Applications for help can be picked up at First National bank SD, in Woonsocket.  The deadline for submission is Dec 19th & all applications are confidential. The Christmas Shopping for Kids event will be held at the Masonic Temple in Mitchell on Saturday, December 6th from 9am until 2pm.  More information can be found at

Santa will be at Letcher Legion Saturday, December 13, 2014 from 10 to-noon. Hot chocolate and cookies will be served at no charge. That evening the Legion will play Bingo for Turkeys, win a 10-12# turkey playing bingo. $1.00 a card for bingo. BBQ's and pie will be sold starting at 6:30 that night. Bingo starts at 8.

‘Tis the season of caring!  Our communities are so fortunate to have many organizations and people willing to help the less fortunate regardless of the circumstances.  If you know of a family that could use some extra help in any area, please contact Mary Ackman at 248-2446 or ackmanmb@santel.net

URGENT - BUS DRIVER NEEDED:  If you are willing to drive bus, we need you!!!!! Even if you are not willing to get your CDL we could use you to drive the 14-passenger bus for a route as you don't need a CDL to drive that bus. The pay is $30 per route which takes about 70 minutes in the morning and about 80 minutes in the afternoon.
