American Education week celebrates our Para Professionals today – Cindy Chance, Connie VanOverschelde, Shawna Baysinger, Jenny Easton, Wanda Effling, Karen Fouberg, Vickie Fox, Sheryl Ischen, Jolene Enfield, Rita Trebil, and Ashly Uecker – your dedication to the students and staff at Sanborn Central amazes us!
The HS Band will be leaving promptly at 8:15 for rehearsal in Woonsocket.  They should return around 10:45.
There will be a boys basketball meeting today at 2:30 for players in grades 7-12.
Boys will have open gym at Sanborn Central today.
Tonight the SCW Blackhawks band will be having a feed/concert in Woonsocket.  The feed begins at 5:30 with the Concert beginning at 7:00. Donations will go to help fund the Winterguard for their competitive season. All band students need to wear black socks and their white band shirt.  If for some reason you are unable to attend – tune in to Santel Channel 104 to watch it live!

Rock Solid will be having their Thanksgiving dinner on Wed, Nov. 19 at 6:30pm at the Letcher Community Church.  There will be turkey and all the trimmings with pumpkin pie and cheesecake for dessert.  Plan to attend and bring a friend!  Anyone in high school is welcome to attend Rock Solid.
Eligibility – MS Homework & Updates are due at noon on Thursday – get your assignments in!!!
We will be a having Blackhawk Football awards banquet on Thursday, November 20th at 6:30 pm at Sanborn Central School.  This is for 7-12 football players.  This will be potluck and the public is invited to attend and can bring a hot dish, salad, or dessert.  We ask parents bring food as follows:
     ·         7th Graders – Salad or Dessert
     ·         8th Graders – Hot Dish
     ·         Freshmen/Sophomores – Hot Dishes
     ·         Juniors – Salads
     ·         Seniors – Desserts
    Plates, utensils, napkins, cups, and drink will be provided.

URGENT - BUS DRIVER NEEDED:  If you are willing to drive bus, we need you!!!!!  Due to an illness of a bus driver we are in desperate need for a substitute driver.  Even if you are not willing to get your CDL we could use you to drive the 14-passenger bus for a route as you don't need a CDL to drive that bus.  The pay is $30 per route which takes about 70 minutes in the morning and about 80 minutes in the afternoon.  Exact time varies depending on who rides.  Leaves SC at 6:35am in the morning and leaves after the 3:20pm bell in the afternoon.
