The Wessington Springs Athletic Boosters will be hosting a tail gate party prior to Monday night’s football game. Hamburger, beans and chips for $5.00 will be served from 4:30 until 6:00 pm.
The 5/6th game with JVC will be played tomorrow - Tuesday, Nov. 4 at 4:00PM – in JVC.
November is declared Citizenship month at Sanborn Central. Show your citizenship by wearing purple on Wednesday, November 5th.
With the upcoming girls junior high basketball tournament on Nov. 15 we will be having basketball practice on Wednesday, November 5th in Woonsocket, Thursday and Friday at Sanborn Central with other practices to be arranged for the following week. Practices will last until 5 to 5:15.

The schedule for the 5/6th Cancer Tournament to be held in Woonsocket on Saturday, November 15th has been uploaded to our Google Drive.
Need some new Blackhawk gear?? A group of students are planning to make a trip to DC in May of 2015. This is a great way to help them raise the funds needed as well as to get a new shirt! These would make great Christmas presents for parents, grandparents and kids. The site will run from Nov 3 to Nov 17 and the items should arrive at the school Dec 3rd. The Artesian American Legion Auxiliary and Legion are sponsoring the Veterans Day Banquet on Sunday November 9, 2014 at noon in the Artesian Community Center. The cost of the meal is $10.00 for non veterans and veterans will receive a free meal. If you plan to attend please pre register by November 4, 2014 by calling Laura Pearson at 605-495-4290. We need to have a meal count to order the food.
Sanborn Central will be hosting Volleyball District games on November 6th and 7th. We are looking for six volunteers to help out in the concession stand. Please contact Tracy Moody if interested tracy.moody@k12.sd.us

URGENT - BUS DRIVER NEEDED: If you are willing to drive bus, we need you!!!!! Due to an illness of a bus driver we are in desperate need for a substitute driver. Even if you are not willing to get your CDL we could use you to drive the 14-passenger bus for a route as you don't need a CDL to drive that bus. The pay is $30 per route which takes about 70 minutes in the morning and about 80 minutes in the afternoon. Exact time varies depending on who rides. Leaves SC at 6:35am in the morning and leaves after the 3:20pm bell in the afternoon. Contact Mrs. Whitney if you would be willing to earn some extra money.
