Blue Day – Tutoring Day
Good Luck to the Blackhawk Football team as they enter the playoffs. We host Platte/Geddes/Dakota Christian in Woonsocket at 7PM today. GO BLACKHAWKS!!!!!!
REMINDER: Passes are not accepted at the playoff game tonight as per the SDHSAA. Gate fees are $7.00 for college and adult, $5.00 for K-12 and free for Pre-K and under. Gates open at 5:30. Good luck Blackhawks!
The Junior Class from Woonsocket High School will be selling chili and a cinnamon roll for $4.00 during the first playoff game in Woonsocket. Serving will begin at 6:00PM.
5/6th basketball will practice at Woonsocket today.
There will be no VB practice today.
There is an optional Parli Pro practice in Woonsocket today at 3:25.
There will be one final pre-season Winterguard practice at Woonsocket immediately after school on Thursday for those interested. The standards document will need to be turned in by Friday Oct. 31st for those participating in Winterguard. I need to know how many people will be in Winterguard by this date so we can purchase floor drill. -Mr. Kroeger

Halloween Party at the Letcher Community Center - October 31st - from 6:00-9:00 pm. No Costume contest this year. Activities include - Kids games, Movie for ages 8 and under, Haunted House (ages 9 and up), and a lights on haunted house for younger children. Supper will be available for purchase.
Trunk or treat will be happening from 6pm-pm on Friday behind the Letcher community center during the Halloween party. This year the suggestion is that trick or trunk participants be businesses or people living outside the town of Letcher. This way children can still enjoy the door to door trick or treating following their time at the Halloween Party.
The Town and Kountry Kids 4-h Club is seeking donations of old clothing that would be appropriate for zombie/monster costumes. Because the clothes may have fake blood, dirt etc on it, it will probably not be returned. We are also seeking monster/zombie/scary masks. These will be returned after using them. The Town-n-Kountry Blue Group will be hosting a Community Fire Safety Dinner - Sunday - November 2nd - 5:00 pm - Letcher Community Center. A Free Will Offering will go towards the Fire Hall Expansion. At 5:30 there will be a fire extinguisher demonstration. Plan on attending and supporting the youth of our community!
