Homework Club will meet today.
Good Luck to the VB teams as they travel to Plankinton today.  The JH game starts at 4:00 followed by a C game, JV, and Varsity.  The bus will leave SC at 2:45 today.
Good Luck to the 5/6th basketball teams as they travel to Wolsey for games today.  The girls’ game is scheduled to start at 6:00 followed by the boys.
Congratulations to fellow Blackhawk athlete Rex Schlicht for a 5th place finish at the State Cross Country meet on Saturday.
HS FB practice will be at Woonsocket today.

1st round Football Playoffs----- we play Platte/Geddes/Dakota Christian in Woonsocket at 7PM That’s Tuesday – October 28th!

REMINDER:   Passes are not accepted at the playoff game Tuesday night as per the SDHSAA. Gate fees are $7.00 for college and adult, $5.00 for K-12 and free for Pre-K and under. Gates open at 5:30.  Good luck Blackhawks!

The Junior Class from Woonsocket High School will be selling chili and a cinnamon roll for $4.00 during the first playoff game in Woonsocket.  Serving will begin at 6:00PM.

Are you still in need of an angel shirt?  The last order will be sent in on November 5th.
Sanborn Central will be hosting Volleyball District games on November 6th and 7th.  We are looking for six volunteers to help out in the concession stand.  Please contact Tracy Moody if interested tracy.moody@k12.sd.us

Halloween Party at the Letcher Community Center - October 31st - from 6:00-9:00 pm. No Costume contest this year.  Activities include - Kids games, Movie for ages 8 and under, Haunted House (ages 9 and up), and a lights on haunted house for younger children.  Supper will be available for purchase.  Trick or Trunk will be held behind the Community Center.  This year the suggestion is that trick or trunk participants be businesses or people living outside the town of Letcher.  This way children can still enjoy the door to door trick or treating following their time at the Halloween Party.
